Born and raised in Paris, he grew up between two cultures, two lifestyles and two identities. After being a Turk in France, and a Frenchman in Turkey, he decided to create a new identity – encapsulated in the slogan: “C’est nous” (It’s us). Convinced that identity is determined by what you have achieved, experimented and lived and not the color of your passport, he settled in Istanbul to realise his project. The city was the perfect place to express this crossing of cultures and civilisations. Behind the Acorn ethos lies the desire to spread the message: No boundaries, no borders, many accents.
