This happened this morning. It’s been a little less than 3 months... so this is a win! Also, the exercise has helped a ton.

15 lbs down as of today, one month in. Exercise is getting easier. Did a full pool lap freestyle with correct timing/breathing cycle this afternoon, which I haven’t been able to do since getting back into it. So yay! It’s slow, but it’s manageable, and there haven’t been that many moments of cursing the “diet” like in the past, with the more structured diets I’ve been on that were impossible to follow. And I’m actually enjoying exercising. Like... when the heck did that happen?

Another 3.2 down. Made it through the second week, though it was difficult. Was even able to enjoy a trip to In n Out Burger and Red Lobster (though not on the same day).
Now onto the 3rd week.
7.5 lbs down. I made the first one week goal I set for myself, to be under a specific number. And it was “easy”. Just by keeping track of portions and calories and walking a little. It’s never been this easy. Or less restrictive. But yay!
