48 hours since the earthquake.
+900 death
+3000 injured people
+200 building on the ground
And depending on who's talking, from 30k to 50k disappeared people. (I hope a lot of this is just people that have no signal, haven't used/register on the sistem to locate them, etc)
God.
No one was expecting something like this. New videos of the event are going out because there are a lot of people that were able to have some phone signal just today.
Neighbors states are sending all they can (food, medicine, mattress, bunk beds structures, decease/funeral chemicals, baby food, pet food, water, shovels, tools, and more)
I have even seen food collections from ecuador, Miami and Spain too. And it brings me so much hope to see all the specialized teams from other countries arriving to help.
First 72 hours are crucial.
First week is going to be full of darkness for a lot of people
On other disasters like this people have been found after 3 weeks, under debris, tired, starving, but alive.
911 had the city cleaning for 9 months, and 2016 Ecuador's earthquakes cleaning lasted 8 months.
How many months will pass and we will continue finding people under the concrete and dust?
