downtown
never she is alone
as long as she has a filled glass on the hand
and maybe a side of a cigarrette daintly held in between
the index and middle fingers on the other
the smell of sweet perfume mixed with hair products and just a touch of sweat
from the wandering and dancing all night
never does she care
for anyone's whispers or stares
the floor is hers
and so are the slopes and squares and streets
whilst she owns the place like nobody else there is
but oh, she knows, she knows
the girl is center of attention
and oh, you know,
for her, only matter your attention
