Once I originally finished, I sent the interactive infographic to a group of my friends to see if they were able to navigate the page. One person claimed that they were unable to navigate at first due to the hierarchy of images and it was ultimately just confusing. So, rather than overall changing the layout to make one smaller than the other, I allowed both large images to be clickable and be less confusing for the audience.

STORY
- Heirloom seeds and plants are quite susceptible to diseases due to their sensitive nature and if the disease comes to a crop, their entire harvest could be infected and completely lost. Most of their diseases are from fungus and weeds, so I felt it was necessary to create an all natural, essential oil based disease preventative and killer. Legacy Roots will also sell infused seed packets as an extra step preventative for seeds that have already been in contact with fungus/diseases. Legacy Roots is concerned about the legacy of the world, what lives on after us - our families and our earth. We can have the opportunity to be both sustainable and powerful with a natural alternative just like Legacy Roots. We believe that disease can be treated at every stage of a plants life, from seed to sprout. - Garden sanitation aims to remove the source of future disease infections by means of a thorough clean up program. Common fungus diseases like peach leaf curl, brown rot, apple scab, camellia petal blight, and black spot on roses will reappear the next season because the fungus spores survive over winter in dead leaves, rotting or mummified fruit and other plant debris left behind the previous Fall. Disease pathogens can also survive in older mulching material laid out in previous years.

DESIGN PROCESS
- Since my brand Legacy Roots is all about protecting the entire plant from seed to sprout, I wanted the logo to have something to do with a cycle, seeds, and sprouts/leaves. I eventually managed to create something well rounded that I feel reads as cyclical and involves both the root and the actual plant.
