I wanted my dress to glow brighter green whenever I moved (ramming speed!), so I planned each piece to use an #arduino. The headpiece and each #nautilus window had a #circuitplayground in it for custom motion-controlled lights. Finally finished an early anniversary present for Nathan. I made a custom 3D printed full replica of the Disney Tokyo sign. I wanted it to be able to light up and also thought this fit his aesthetic so did this version instead of the original Walt Disney World sign. The original sign there has the Coca Cola logo in the bottom but I decided to put a mini raised Nautilus instead and used a warm flickering light to mimic a gaslight flicker. I used a mix of green and blue patina but left more copper showing than the original sign does since he wanted it that way. Since we usually build big, it was nice to do a smaller detailed piece. I’m really pleased with how it came out 😊
