@20902 Bands are allowed to evolve their sound. I have always noticed electronic influences in their music going so I don’t understand why people are acting like its something new. It wasn’t false advertising at all calling it Symphonic Metal because the album very evidently was still Symphonic.

I’m glad you loved Delain’s new album so much! Personally, it just didn’t click with me. The symphonic and melodic sounds of the songs they’d released before (Masters of Destiny, One Second, Ghost House Heart) were like false advertisement, because the rest of the album was the same mix with electronica that is popular now and to which many other formerly symphonic metal bands have resorted to, under the guise of “creating something different.”
