Anette Olzon, to me, is a great example of how it really is NEVER late to start over. The woman got her big break at 35, went from the highest high of the metal world to lowest low (bullied non-stop, for 5 years; being kicked out of the band; having to concider becoming a nurse because of financial insecurity) and then finding the place that suited her perfectly with The Dark Element at 46. I never liked her as a vocalist for Nightwish, even though I like both of the albums, but I’m LOVING her with The Dark Element. I hope the band gets big, both she and Jani deserve it, considering they really seem to be pouring their heart and soul in it.
