So today at the Bible study I go to (it's quite nice and chill, watching the chosen) I was told information on spiritual warfare. It was just prosperity gospel. Apparently mental and physical illnesses are because I'm not putting on the armor of God and rebuking Satan. Apparently I don't have faith?
I wonder how believing so much that Satan is defeated that I don't believe he has any power to harm me means I have no faith? (I'm holier than thou ok)
I trust God fully. I trust he has a reason for all my different and I thank him for all my blessings. I don't need to know it. I don't need to know the hour or the day. I trust I will see him one day.
Ugh just bothers me the logical inconsistencies they were saying. God isn't a magic genie! Also, I'm not going to test God. He knows my thoughts and heart and wants and needs. He knows I don't want to have migraines. He knows I would prefer not to have graphic violent images thrown into my mind. Yet they are here and I trust Him.
What beauty there can be in suffering sometimes. In being human. In being made in the image of God.
God, I need to love others better.
