That golden yellow is not its mature color as I had hoped. In the 2 weeks since harvest, the green parts have ripened to a very pale yellow and the yellow part seems to be hanging onto its hue a little bit more, but just enough to look sort of stainy and odd. Very curious to see if I'm left with a two-tone effect when the last of that green fades, or if it'll all equalize. Will update again later as I know you're on the edge of your seat

20ish days old apiece, heat wave this week, and a month til Halloween... you guys should both come in today.

Oo went to check on the new Pyrolga in a spot I never go because it's too thick to walk easily and I spotted a Renegade way in there that I didn't even know about

If this vine is growing yellow pumpkins I'll definitely want to save seeds, so I did a self cross to make sure the line is pure. Even if it ends up white instead, I'll still have an updated batch of seeds from a vine with my preferred growth habit.
