The BS6 Royal Enfield Himalayan has finally been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1.87 lakh. As expected, along with the 3 new colour options – Gravel Grey, Lake Blue, and Rock Red – the updated Himalayan will continue to be available in previous colours as well – Snow White, Granite Black, and Sleet Grey. It is the same 411cc, single-cylinder engine which has been made BS6 compliant. It produces the same torque (32 Nm) and almost the same power (down from 24.5 bhp to 24.3 bhp). The rest of the specs are left untouched. One key thing to notice here is that the new Himalayan is 5kg heavier than the BS4 model. In the past, people have already complained about Himalayan’s lack of power and now with the gained weight, it would be interesting to see how does what effect does it have on its performance. Apart from the new BS6 engine, the Himalayan gets switchable ABS and hazard light switch. . . . . . . . #2020himalayan #himalayan #himalayanbs6 #royalenfieldhimalayan #iamabiker #royalenfield https://www.instagram.com/p/B7iaSeLgbvc/?igshid=hhxorzk8efjw
