Life is busy and I play a lot less toy piano than I used to. Back in 2015 through early 2017 I would spend *hours* practically daily following my imagination at the piece of my heart that is my red baby piano (and also trying to make amusing Snapchats lol - y’all already know what’s up 😜 ayyyy). With work picking up and all I’ve certainly been *making* a lot of music but creating/writing a lot less- in terms of following my imagination wheresoever it may leadeth. I spent some time with my Schoenhut bae tonight and it sang me such a sweet melancholic song exclaiming how it has missed me oh so so much 😭 Being able to follow my fancy in this way is a huge freaking privilege and to be able to live a life wherein I may experience the mental and socioeconomic means that allow for me to freely pour out my imagination in the form of music is something for which I am *quite* grateful.
