I was walking through Central Park and captured this couple's happiest moment by chance back in July. I was crossing this bridge with a cello playing in the background when I noticed this man on his knee with a ring for his girlfriend. She collapsed to the ground with him from the excitement and said yes. What I love about this moment is that even though everyone on the bridge was taking pictures fixated on them, they were in their own little world. Everything else going on around them didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was their commitment to each other. 😊 . What a contrast! On the one hand you have a path of destruction made by lava 🌋 that becomes solid black rock. This is met by an equally powerful force, the ocean 🌊. 2018 was a good year to me. I traveled in Europe for the first time, had amazing adventures (including flying over a volano 🌋 in a helicopter 🚁), stayed in places ranging from luxurious to bare bones accommodations, fell in love, met incredible people, and managed to even make it home for Christmas! 🎄 But what made it all the best year was the people by my side on the journey with me. 2018 was also a year of setbacks and loss. I took a bit of a step back from posting as much. 2019 I want to be different though, back on the grind making the content I love to share with you all! ☺ 2018 also saw the loss of someone that was an incredible light to all that met her and I feel incredibly lucky to have known her @smtvasquez 🙏. Shannon reminded us all that every day is an adventure and how incredibly lucky we are to be here. 2019 won't be the same without her but I like to think her greatest adventure has just begun.
