265. Visit the Emily Carr house in VictoriaÂ
The Emily Carr house was very nice. I really like the old style of house that the Emily Carr House is. I do believe the house that the museum is in was the actual house that Emily Carr and her family lived in. Emily Carr is a Canadian artist and writer. Daniel bought one of the art books that they had there. Lots of her work is inspired by First Nations people. They had a small sun room at the side of the house that we sat in for a while and drank tea, while Daniel sketched the flowers in the garden. I really enjoyed it.
271. Visit HR Macmillan Space Centre in VancouverÂ
The space center was very similar to the space section of TWOS here, so it was a bit underwhelming. But, the stuff that was different was quite interesting. They had a very heavy moon rock, and suits from NASA, which TWOS doesnât have. It was still kind of cool. We got the Explore Pass so we also got to check out the Museum of Vancouver and the Maritime Museum that day. All 3 were very fun.
