I’m doing the 2016 Block a Month Crochet Along on Ravelry, which will ultimately result in a sweet new blanket. These are my first squares - the main square (bottom), filler square (top), and 6″ square (right). I decided to go with the same yarn for the whole thing to keep it simple. I chose “ivory tweed” to add some variation in the color. I’m really liking it so far!

This is part of my plan to make crochet a more regular hobby this year, as I find that it is relaxing and helps me feel productive and creative in my down time. I set a goal to do crochet on a regular basis, then found this CAL and signed on right away.
