Urrone posted about a cheap hockey romance novel she read and was wondering what to read next. Biene recommended Blood on the Ice, a batshit novel about gay hockey playing vampires she and paxpinnae had read and spent at least 1 hour straight discussing in great depth. No, really. A couple dozen people on tumblr liked or reblogged our explanations of how incredibad this weird little book is, and so the idea of an offseason book club was born.
