LAST YEAR ON FEBRUARY 8 According to my old planner today marks the one-year anniversary of The Wild West Space Adventures of Laser Bill, a thingy Mason and I made. It is one of my favorite things ever.
TODAY ON FEBRUARY 8 Today Mason and I are trekking to Seattle, by cyber-horse drawn space-carriage, to attend a writing workshop that Lois is co-hosting. We will see how the drama unfolds, and if it lives up at all to the wonder and splendor that is Laser Bill and Dusty Dryfall.

TODAY ON JANUARY 29TH I had more writing workshop drama in class today. My partner and I were going over each other's essays, and he told me that he really liked my writing and that it was very entertaining and informative. I responded with "Thank you!... Um, your writing's... kinda boring." I'm an ass. Then I went to a boring art lecture and then fucked around with some friends at this job fair that was going on in the library building. Then I found Joey and we went to his dorm for a nap.
LAST YEAR ON JANUARY 29TH In the morning I went to the college for a read-through with the cast of a class-film Kirsten and I were directing, called Waiting. I remember it was quite fun, mostly because the script involved a giant paper ball fight and we were practicing in the student lounge. Then I went to my old flame's house and we did some scandalous kanoodling, and then we walked to San Fran bakery and got food and then we walked back to his house and he invited me inside and I said no and oh god that was that last time I saw him wasn't it I think it was I hope I didn't hurt his feelings I just had a lot of shit to do that day oh god he liked me a lot more than I liked him I feel guilty now.
TODAY ON JANUARY 11TH Joey and I, along with Mason and Gabe and Destiny and others, attended our friend Sonny's poetry show. I was asked to film the event, and spent part of the afternoon running around trying to find my tripod only to find out that I had loaned it to my mother and she had lost it. So during the reading I got to sit in a middle-aged woman's personal space bubble and film with my hands (which I killed at btw, 45 minutes and my composition and framing was ace as hell). Although I did feel kinda silly cuz across from me on the other side of the room was another videographer with a very expensive fancy camera as well as a tripod...and he probably didn't get in anybody else's way. Oops. But yes! Overall, tonight was very fantastic.
LAST YEAR ON JANUARY 11TH I have no idea, really. On January 11 it says "Visit OHS" but then it's crossed out. I hope it was a lazy Netflix day or something.
TODAY ON JANUARY 6TH I saw Joey for the first time in awhile and we went to our first day of class together. Then we met a bunch of peeps down at The Reef. Then other things. What fun!
LAST YEAR ON JANUARY 6TH Shannon and I attempted to infiltrate local cult Ramtha’s super secret compound in Yelm. We failed to find a weak spot in their perimeter however. So disappointing. No giant lizard men for us!
TODAY ON JANUARY 1ST I went to the beach with Mason, their mother, and my boyfriend Joey. We found a number of fascinating objects, including a seal carcass. Joey then got picked up by his mother and sister and went back home.
LAST YEAR ON JANUARY 1ST I went out to dinner with this guy that I used to sleep around with a bit back in 2011. After dinner we decided to kick up the old habit again.
Both were very excellent starts to the new year(s).
