Obligatory 2013 post
I suppose this is better late than never. But I'm not doing anything better with my time and this feels somewhat productive. When I first started thinking about this year I didn't think much of it. There were ups and down, but going through my iPhoto and really reflecting I realized a lot.
Spring semester happened and I became closer with people in TWLOHA. It's one of the few reasons I've made it through college so far. I went to Atlanta and EmiLeigh's mountain house in Georgia for Heavy and Light. And pretty much fell in love with Atlanta as a city. I loved it. Somehow that seems forever ago and still one of the best trips I've ever been on. And the closest I've seen of snow. I miss seeing her face every tuesday and going back through my pictures, reminded me how thankful I am for her and everyone I've come to know at TWLOHA FSU.
I made it through that semester and went home to Moore Haven. I completed my first year of college. But, Grammy was sick and only getting sicker. So was the worst beginning of a summer. I lost her. And I still miss her everyday. It doesn't feel real. She's gone and I still struggle coping with it. My Aunt's moved into her house and it hurts to even think about. I miss her so much, but it was all about moving forward.
Then 8123 tour happened. I could go on about how much of a rollercoaster that day was from my shitty spot in the acoustic crowd, but I gave John my letter and that was a step for me not just stuttering and asking for his signature. All of them were just so great. Then the show. And seeing Rocket for the first and last time. After standing in the rain for 6 hours, it was worth it and I felt better.
After that, for some dumb reason I started tweeting more and interacting. Mostly from being bored at home and I stumbled into the 8123 family. Getting to know so many people Brandyn, Jackie, Taylor, Jadelyn, Tracy, Josie, Jessica, Paige, and the list just goes on to people I'm probably forgetting. I found a home at the end of this year. Everyone in the 8123 family means so much to me and I'll forever be in debt.
I had friends in real life. Lauren and Maggie and getting to know other people like Monica and Katy. I felt at home and better about myself. Which is nice to remind myself of on this lonely night. But getting to "meet" these people all over the country is awe-inspiring and I'm so thankful for everyone. I've stopped harming myself and most days feel better and at least okay. Which is enough for me.
Then I can't forget about seeing The Maine in November. I made a whole post about it, but while I dealt with dumb Anberlin fans there was also a nice who made my night. I got to see my five favorite guys again and all was well. I got to meet Kennedy and talk to him about Jackie. And talk with Jared. And talk with Pat. And meet Tracy!! Even having to deal with the bus rides from Tally to Gainesville weren't so bad. I didn't get John my letter but here's always 2014.
I have quite a bit already lined up and I'm so excited and can't wait to see what it has in store for me. Heavy & Light. Acoustic tour. And surprises to see.
And that's an overlook of 2013. I really should've made a collage, maybe next year? But this year was great and if you've read all this. I'm thankful for you and I love you.
Last Day of 2013
2013 was my best year yet. I wouldn't trade it for anything, and I can only hope 2014 will be equally wonderful.
Rounded it off with an all day Hobbit marathon with friends--not a bad way to end a year.
I have met so many wonderful people this year. Many of them have helped me through so much. I'll admit, with this RP blog, I had so many doubts about myself, the way I portray Dylan, etc. But, it is thanks to many of you who have told me to stay, to not delete, and to not give up on this muse that I continue to stay and roleplay still today. There are quite a few of the wonderful people I've met who have helped me through personal problems which I found difficulty trying to handle all on my own. There are also many of you who never fail to make me smile, laugh, and snort from laughter too bc jfc all of you are hilarious and funny and aldfjawoif. Because I've had such a variety of characters whom I have roleplayed with, my knowledge has expanded from being exposed to different types of roleplaying, different TV shows, movies, books, different worlds. Thanks to my fellow RP partners, I've had the chance to expand my knowledge in writing. It is because of all of my followers that I've come to experience new things this year. I've gained new friends, reestablished old friendships, laughed, and loved. So I'd like to list all of the people who have helped me through thick and thin, who always put a smile on my face, and made my 2013 experience a memorable year.

My Summary of 2013...
I'm putting this under the cut, as this is quite personal and I go on and on. I really did want to make one of these though.

Multiples of five uwu
It took me awhile to realize what this was since i don’t normally get the anons but OK!
5:What countries did you visit? I didn’t visit any new countries this year…
10:Did you suffer illness or injury?I sprained my ankle multiple times this year, and I got really sick before christmas I had a really bad cold or something.
15:What did you get really, really, really excited about?I asked out this guys I’ve had a crush on for like 5 years finally…… He kinda just stood me up but I mean it taught me that The popular Jock really does ignore the weird socially awkward girl.
20:How did you spend Christmas?I was really sick and I had to go to the doctors shortly after, but i did the usual things which was go to my Grandpa’s side, then my Stepdad’s side, my biological father’s side, and my Grandmother’s side of my families.
25:What was your greatest musical discovery?Marina and the Diamonds of course!
30:How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2013?A weird mixture of grungy, tacky, skater, vintage, crap.
35:Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2013.Let go of your past and try to make your present the best you can.
I am cold.
But I am also writing for the first time since November, and reading everything I wrote in November, and I'm really happy, so I don't feel like going to bed just yet.
