Did My Ab Challenge. 200 Crunches In A Row. It Burned. But, If Its Going To Make My Abs Look Like They Do Now BRING IT ON.
Friday
Whew, I didn't think I'd get it done, but I hit it and now I feel good. My legs are dead though because of the gym last night hence the fact that I didn't do as many squats as I'd wanted. I've also decided to push through with the pushups. There's a pushup challenge at the end of week 2 (which I'm doing) to see how many I can do. I will only count the full pushups that I manage though.Â
Anyhow, I feel strong!!!!!! W2D2, I just made you my bitch.
Pushups: 26/100
Squats: 85/316
Situps: 91/355
Now, I sushi.
workout update
I did W2D1 of 100 pushups, 200 squats and crunches. I love these apps and I feel like the squats and crunches are really doing something amazing to my body. As for the pushups...well things aren't going as well. I can't get all the way down!! I can only get about halfway down. Now, this is a major improvement from W1D1 but I'm not too sure what to do. Should I just keep going knowing that I'm going to get stronger and gain better form or should I just redo week 1? I'm really happy that I can keep my core strong and that my body stays straight, but I'm really excited at the idea of being able to do a proper complete pushup. Any advice would be very welcome.
Here are the numbers so far (today/total so far):
Pushups: 24/74
Squats: 80/231
Crunches: 72/244
I like the way those numbers are looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Strong
I'm feeling strong like a horse!!Â
I did w1d3 of 100 pushups, 200 squats and crunches. My abs hurt and my knee started doing this strange clicking sound during the last set of squats, but I feel like a beast, or at least a very girly one.Â
Numbers (today/monthly total)
Pushups: 22/50
Squats: 57/151
Crunches: 75/172

WIW + Wednesday recap
So December 31st, I weighed in at 242.0 pounds. Yesterday, I weighed in at 239.4 BUT this morning, I weighed in at 243.4. Needless to say that my day didn't start with me in the best possible mood, but whatever, I am more than the number on the scale right?
Anyhow, here's the rest of the day in bullet form...
Food is becoming difficult to manage. I find myself craving a LOT of salty and greasy foods. I'm not caving, but I'm having a hard time.Â
I did W1D2 of 100 push-ups, 200 squats & crunches. I feel like I'll be sore tomorrow morning.Â
My roommate and I deep cleaned our apartment. I did a LOT of vacuuming today!
Today would've been my parent's 37th wedding anniversary. I will probably write something about that later on tonight because something beautiful happened.Â
I started toying around with the idea of going to culinary school (because I'm freaking out at the idea of applying to a Master's program and food and fitness seem to be the only things I can think about these days).
So here's my awesomeness tally (today's reps/total reps for January):
Pushups: 16/28
Squats: 55/94
Crunches: 59/97
I'm feeling strong people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today's recap
Today I:
Watched Beastly (don't judge...it wasn't THAT bad!)
Downloaded 3 fitness apps (100 pushups, 200 squats and 200 crunches)
Did the initial test for all 3 apps
Did the week 1 day 1 workout for all 3 apps (pool was closed, I needed to move...)
Drank a lot of water
Felt really good about myself
I figure I should keep track just for fun of how many pushups, squats and crunches (excluding the initial tests) I do so that I can remember that I'm AWESOME!!!!!
Pushups: 12
Squats: 39
Crunches: 38
