Sara (and husband) - 25 - 2009
I got married in 2009 to the love of my life. We spent so many hours driving around getting lost on gravel roads listening to Taylor Swift that he knew all the lyrics, too. Our first dance as a married couple was to “Crazier” by Taylor Swift. We got married on 10/10/09, I got really sick from severe vertigo on 10/13/09 and we later found out that it was Multiple Sclerosis when I was diagnosed in 11/2009. On 10/16/2009, my dad suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. That fall was a roller coaster for us but we made it through only by the grace of God. To this day, the fall of 2009 has been a point in my life that holds the most memories, amazing and incredibly sad, but jam packed full of memories, nonetheless. Taylor Swift was the soundtrack to my life during those major rises and quick descents.

In 2008, I had one of the best times of my life attending a Taylor Swift concert in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with my fiancé and some of my bffs. I waited outside by her tour bus after the concert and she came by everyone standing there and took their cameras and took selfies with everyone. It was a brief 15 second moment but it was incredible and a memory I will always cherish. She also donated money to help with the huge flooding disaster in Cedar Rapids! She is such an amazing woman! I pray that someday I will be invited to a secret session or an after concert gathering because I would love to have the chance and time to actually say “thank you for impacting my life in a positive way.” Love, Sara @blessedoptimist @taylorswift @taylornation
Sara - 2015 - 31 yrs old
My husband bought me tix to the 1989 World Tour for our 6th anniversary. He knows all of Taylor’s songs because of me and he likes a lot of him but it’s not his style of music. That being said, he knew how much I love TS so he was so amazing. He wore the shirt I made for him and we had so much fun!
He’s really is the best thing that’s ever been mine.
