I'm so proud of the work @cottononfoundation has tirelessly done to help the people and communities of Southern Uganda. Soon we will see more and more future projects like Namabale evolve into schools like Kyalulangria - which provide more efficient learning conditions and opportunities for kids. I'm excited for the day when these kids will no longer have to sleep in tight quarters by the hundreds, or have to huddle together to learn in outdoor classrooms. Louise Nevelson (1899-1988) was a pioneer in contemporary sculpture, a key figure in the feminist art movement, and a leading public artist. Louise Nevelsonâs work Night Presence IV (1972), was recently conserved and rededicated and is currently located at East 92nd Street and Park Avenue in Manhattan.
In honor of Womenâs Equality Day, New York Cityâs Department of Records and Information Services ( @nycrecords ) has launched a platform for sharing and saving the stories of women activists.
