Shirley Ringo's Concession
After a long and hard fought race Shirley Ringo (D) lost to incumbent Raul Labrador (R). Labrador won by a wide margin of 65% to 35%. On her campaign website Ringo states that while they may have lost the election, they laid the groundwork for more Idahoans to have their voices heard and create change for the state. However, it will be a few more years before anyone can judge if Ringo's belief will come to fruition.
