30 Days 1 Language Challenge • Day 1

This is from Twitter, but I might as well post it on here. The aim is to do at least 1 hour of active study each day of May. Yes I’m starting a day late, but ehh it’s fine haha I’ll just do an extra day afterwards.

I spent my hour today starting a translation from HSK1 short stories, it’s on kindle, and I printed off screenshots to write on.

Even if it’s just a few words, any degree of recognition in text is good progress. Whether it is 爸爸妈妈, 我是 or something else, recognition is recognition. I’m going to go over my time a little today, but that’s just to translate the unfamiliar words into my word bank.
