On May 1st last year, I had to go down to the Union Square Greenmarket to find Lily of the Valley for May Day. This year, I bought Muguet at the @marcheauxpucesdevanves flea market to celebrate 1er Mai Fête du Muguet. I’ve gone to this smaller brocante style flea market two Sundays in a row and it’s not only fun to shop but also to people and dog watch. Today is also Fête du Travail when everything is closed so some vendors were off on holiday. I look forward to having one more weekend to shop before I have to go back to NYC.
