       flashing  lights,  loud  music.  sweaty  bodies  pressing  against  one  another,  exhilarating  and  intimate.  anna - marie  loved  it  here.  she  loved  feeling  like  she  was  part  of  something  big,  something  so  beautiful.  a  space  in  which  she  could  be  herself  while  at  the  same  time  not  having  to  be  anybody  in  particular. 

       as  she  was  taking  in  the  scene  from  the  balconette  area,  body  slightly  moving  to  the  vibrations  of  the  beat,  she  felt  his  eyes  on  her.  it  wasn’t  like  she  hadn’t  noticed  his  sheer  presence  before.  he  ahd  been  eyeing  her  all  night  long,  it  wasn't  like  he  made  a  big  secret  out  of  it  anyway.  she  had  suspected  it  might  have  something  to  do  with  the  talk  they  had  earlier  that  day.

       as  if  remy  could  read  her  mind,  he  approached  her.  he  stopped  right  beside  her,  very  close,  his  hand  ghosting  just  a  milimeter  above  the  small  of  her  back.  ❝  i’m  ready  for  anything,  ❞  he  said,  voice  only  loud  enough  for  her  ears  to  pick  up.  she  turned  her  head  just  slightly  and  looked  at  him  through  thick  long  lashes.  anna - marie  wasn’t  new  to  this,  wasn’t  new  to  him  saying  things  that  made  her  insides  feel  warm  and  fuzzy.  remy’s  words  were  sweet  like  honey,  she  couldn’t  deny  that.  and  it  made  her  weak,  which  she  couldn’t  deny  either.
