Some fun finds at Long Beach Antique Market this morning. Thank you to @lastvestige for this fantastic vintage metal ‘MENS WEAR’ sign you found in New Mexico!!! I can’t wait to hang in at Waverly on Doheny!!! The two incredibly large 1970’s flower paintings are from another seller. I have to do a little research on them as they are signed but something came up. I had a really scary experience when I arrived home. The person I was with and myself smelled burning and we ran around trying to find the source of it. Turned out my car was on fire inside the hood!!! The cause of it was an oily rag that a mechanic had left in the engine last Tuesday when the car went in for a smog check!!! We had been on the freeway just a few minutes before so you can imagine what could have happened!!! The car has to be checked out to see what damage as the fire melted some wire coverings. The garage also has to be held accountable. I am sure they will deny any wrong doing.
