Hi! To those who've been asking how my nova looked just before it went in for the Paint - this Viedo is after @dannyanthonyandrade / his father and the Auto Tech Body team primed and double sanded it.. they have given so much love to it. I can't wait-Yes, I'm going back to the original factory colors. Next to come is the interior paint flowed by the upholstry - both are a color called fawn(yes like a deer), A super detail I added was I selected the fabric from the 63 Nova hardtop and mixed it with the 63 Nova convertible (also called a Drop Top) so the seats are not all vinyl- ( I hated the all vinyl seats because you would stick to them in the heat - so I place in fabric panels in the seats) - it's all about the details! After they paint the inside they are then painting the inside of the engine on the firewalls, then the trunk gets a black & white Zolatone paint. Then the frame for the convertible top gets sanded and painted black to go with the new black cloth top(I upgraded the drop top to a black fabric vs. a vinyl.. adding an elegant finish... I can't wait / it's going to be so beautiful... To finish it off I've collected all new OER (original equipment reproduction) parts for it - bumpers, lights, molding mirrors- etc.. it's going to look like it did on the showroom floor! I'll be Keeping you posted, so stay tuned and thanks for following! #classiccar #nova #classicar #restoration #restore #chevy #originalcolor #cars #carshow #iiidesigns #michaelhabichtiii #1963chevy (at AUTO TECH BODY SHOP)
