i'm sorry if ive been too aggressive it's just that ive been tired of tumblr's mentality for awhile now and today was too much. i do agree with what you said because as i wrote in my tags her speech was never inclusive enough and even exclusive and everyone has the right and should call her out on this HOWEVER i don't appreciate all the other posts mocking her fight and putting her down for asking things she is entitled to and denied to!!!!! the wage gap in the entertainment is very real and it is degrading to women (white and poc)/men of color and i think these people are fed up with it and its understandable!! people on tumblr making fun of this is literally just so???? wow thank you very much! they dont already have hundreds of men who tell them such things every day these men totally need more support. i don't think it's bad that these people try to reach the equality they're denied too everyone is entitled to it but sadly it is not the reality for a lot of people. i'm going to give a bad exemple because she is a white woman but meryl streep was cheering for patricia's speech and that wasn't a coincidence, if such a high profile actress recognize this hard reality as important then i think we should take time to understand the struggle. same goes for jennifer lopez, who is not a white woman. i do understand that they're paid a lot but it's not the only industry (like for exemple the sport industry is just ridiculous on that level and it's mostly men benefiting of it) who got this problem. anyways i do understand where some posts were coming from and i acknowledged those and reblogged them/liked them but some of i've seen in my dash these last days are anti feminism and i can't accept that and yes it does make me angry cause i don't come on tumblr to see the same mentality as i see on facebook or just around me i hope for better and it was the contrary that i've seen
