1881 Pavilion Pink Hydro Gin • A Scottish berry gin with local red berries and a hint of hibiscus. It’s game, set and match to this nod to our tennis pavilion on the front lawn. In the 1920’s Peebles Hydro had more tennis courts than Wimbledon and we hosted many tournaments in our time. A refreshing gin and tonic on the lawn was just the ticket for tournament spectators in those days. • History of the hotel - 1881 saw the opening of the grand Peebles Hydropathic Establishment. Set high above the town of Peebles in the stunning Scottish borders, the hotel offered a vast range of therapeutic water treatments bringing guests from all over Scotland and further afield to avail themselves with these revolutionary treatments. • The source of these water treatments? Peebles Hydro’s private water source, the Shieldgreen spring. This spring water is now at the heart of the Hydro's recently launched 1881 Gin and also waters some of the local botanicals that may end up in the distilling process. • 🛒link in bio • #craftyconnoisseur #pinkgin #gin #1881gin #scottishgin #ginstagram #ginspiration #gintonic #gincocktails #ginlover #whatimdrinking #peebleshydro #shoplocal #christmasgifts #christmasgiftsideas (at Edinburgh, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHVEocklYx2/?igshid=gtncysui14q0
