すべてを、たとえば小学校国語で習うレベルの、誰にでも理解可能な言葉に限定し、平明に書いた文章は、すらすら読み飛ばしていける反面、頭に残りにくかったりする。なにより、クセのない文章はつまらない。だから、「あえて」引っ掛かりを仕掛ける。それが文章の「芸」だと、私個人は思う。
