New member in the “family” is 1957 Loewe Opta Vineta 1790W which was bought as a non working unit with no detailed description of the fault.

Turned out to be a small issue with switches and tuning string was undone  ( still needs to be adressed as the pointer which shows the frequency seems to be stuck )

The case has some wear and tear and a bit of cracking on the edges, which i will probably fix and post the update on it.

The sound that comes out of this thing is very very surprising. It’s quite interesting design with the 4 speakers in place. One shocker was bass response down to about 40Hz ( yes i tested it as i couldn’t resist )
