17255 Don’t let that make you stop listening or liking them. The great thing about music is that it can be interpreted different ways, “I’m So Sick” can be about people and Again can be about a desperate guy. It’s all about how you interpret it. I used to think “House on A Hill” by TPR was about inner demons and then saw the music video which showed footage Stalin, Hitler, Mao Zedong and former US Presidents playing over Taylor along with clips from religion, war and famine. I’m an atheist who listens to Flyleaf, Skillet, We As Human, Lacey Sturm’s solo stuff and the occasional Fireflight song. I can do this because the lyrics aren’t specific in the songs I like and can be interpreted anyway. Enjoy Flyleaf and view it as a being about people and desperate boys. The good thing is that it’s not gospel so you can interpret it the way you want. The only song that I can think of off the top of my head by Flyleaf that is specifically about God is “Cassie" which was written about one of the victims of Columbine who died because she said she believed in God when asked. Anyway, happy listening.
