16961 I think it’s bullshit that the girl from Hey Violet is constantly getting crap for wearing dreadlocks, not because of the whole “cultural appropriation” thing, but because there are tons of white dudes who wear dreadlocks in the rock and metal scene (Slipknot and Korn’s 2016 tour is even called “Return of the Dreadlocks”) and no one ever calls them out for it. It seems more like sexism than racism to me.
