I had my Newsies audition today, but with my busy life, (like I got less sleep than I should have, and not because I was reading fan fictions) so I was not able to watch the dance audition video and learn the dance. I forgot it was my audition day and had agreed to babysit my baby brother, and walk two of my sisters to their dance lessons. all in the same time. I remembered when i got to school this morning and my friend reminded me. he said he would help me with the dance during lunch. great one problem solved. so I go to this little class room at lunch to wait for him, willing to sacrifice my favorite meal of the day so I can make this audition. but he doesn’t show up until lunch if half over. I could have eaten lunch. so he teaches me the dance and I go home to change into work out cloths and grab my sheet music. but my other sister started yelling at me for not telling anyone my plan. but I didn’t even know my own plan. so I call my dad and tells me to ask our neighbor to bring my sisters to their dance lesson, which they agreed to do. ok one more problem solved, then I got my best friend to come to my audition with me so she could watch my baby brother while I finished learning and perfecting the dance. but as we are getting ready to go in I realize, I left my sheet music at home, I can’t go get it and I’m not supposed to sing a Capella. but i did. then while preforming the dance, I only nailed three out of the many many dance moves. I doubt I’ll get a call back.
