Britânico espera repetir sucesso de 'Strip That Down' com 'Stack It Up'
British Liam Payne, 26, will resume the partnership that leveraged his solo career two years ago after One Direction's break announcement. Back in 2017, it was the sexy "Strip That Down", written by none other than Ed Sheeran, that consecrated it. Now he releases "Stack It Up", also written by his colleague.
"I'm very excited for the new song. I can't wait", says the Singer about the release that will happen on wednesday (18th), with the collaboration of American rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, 23. Anxiety is rising to mark the return of the singer who hasn't released any new songs in a year.
"I'm not nervous. I'm very excited. I had a break um my music career and a moment of passion made me come back. I really liked the new song and I can't wait to see what everyone will think about it", he said, laughing, in a telephone interview given to F5.
With a touch of rap that blends in with a much more dance and bubblegum pop than the sensuality of his debut Tracks, Payne doesn't hesitate to say that he believes "Stack It Up" can hit the top of the charts. It has the potential to be as successful as my other songs and those of One Direction. I hope the same thing happens."
Despite having achieved a lot of success, the singer hasn't presented his fans with a solo album yet, but promises to give the fans more songs and collaborations. "We have a lot of songs coming around. I have already signed up partnerships for singles and for my album, but I can't tell you anything yet," he said before asking me how the weather was in São Paulo. "I'm um London and it's cold here as usual."
But the British has already felt a bit of the brazilian weather recently. He landed in Goiânia in july when he participated on the VillaMix festival. "It was a very good time for me. The people in Brazil are amazing, the culture is very good. I love the shows I do in South America. The public is always very contagious, excited", he says.
But it's not just the music that makes Liam's fans go crazy. Recently, he has shown far beyond his two tattoed arms on his social networks. In a post by phtographer Mert Alas, the singer appears completely naked sitting in he artist's work chair. A month later, he posted his nudes in his IG stories.
"Sometimes we get naked. It's normal," he says. "I love taking pictures of my body. The picture Mert took was amazing. We made more photos that should come out soon, but I'm very comfortable with my body", he completed (...).
