the same could be said for gz, but where our protags come from theres like 3 seasons? theres one with a lot of storms in the middle of the year, almost like spring/summer, theres a season with a lot of warmth and milder rains like summer/fall, and then theres what they call a “resting period” which is when things are calm and theres usually harvests and replanting near the end.

when the planet was being observed they decided to try to keep the years a similar length to earth’s, for the sake of schedules. day-night cycles are 28 hours long, weeks are 6 days (so as to keep a week the same # of hours as earth), and 312 days in a year. theres no leap year day though, because this splits Evenly into 312 days :-0

the sky is purple due to a thicker atmosphere and such..... thats why theres more prolonged seasons of warmth and if theres somewhere cold, it’s probably cold almost year round.

plants are pretty docile, as are animals. theres a lot of life similar to earth Before it was destroyed

there arent many heavily populated areas, think of it like..... a lot of the places are focused on agricultural aspects, and it’s a community that relies on one another. there are definitely groups that form (theres a major part of our characters’ backstories where that comes into play) so festivals would be more along the lines of sharing with neighbors, celebrating harvests and giving thanks to the planet for allowing them great things or to gather together to ask for the next year to be just as good/better, giving back, etc., so while you may not know your neighbors well because they live far away.... you still gather together and have a good time. 

there are Very many religious views that will vary depending where you go, just as with any religion, but there are certainly days of observance in respect to these things, where it’s more something you don’t boast about, but a quiet thing to remind you of your “place” in existence to know youre not better than anyone

theres definitely this mindset that isnt so great of “you dont always have to fight back, sometimes it’s wrong” and that certainly causes some conflict for a few of them
