She was trying to dodge people, doing her best not to get caught in anyone’s small talk, because she could never resist the urge to roll her eyes when someone went on and on about how their trip to four had been the week before, or just how terrible the attacks were, she just couldn’t listen to it anymore, but there seemed to be a person in every corner of this building.
She settled on the quietest looking one, flopped down onto one of the fancy sofas they had with a huff. “When do you think they’ll let us the fuck out of here?”
