One thing we do look forward to here at Railcam Social Media HQ is the arrival on the doormat of the 125 Group’s magazine ‘One Two Five’ and that is exactly what has happened this morning.
As always this is an essential read for anyone with a love of the legendary HST, and you can have this quarterly magazine delivered direct to you as part of a membership package with the 125 Group, for as little as £17 a year, an absolute bargain!
As well as the long term goal of preserving a full production HST, powered by Paxman Valenta Engines, the group are currently raising funds to build a new 4 berth shed at Ruddington at the GCR(N). The #Depot125 appeal is currently over £63,000 towards its target of £100,000 to bring together a shed to house and maintain Prototype HST No. 41001, the current MK3 fleet of coaches, and fleet additions of the future, with the retirement and storing of many HST sets from GWR, this could be very much sooner rather than later.......
