One afternoon had crossed their paths. They didn't know what happened; it just "clicked." Laughing at each other stories, they realized that they were all the same. The thought somehow made them closer to each other and more comfortable.

Until the storms came in and they didn't know what to do. Drived by their own guts and agenda, the bond had slowly disappeared.

They all noticed how the storms changed them, however, none of them was willing to admit what was really happening. Instead, they pretended to be blind. But the days had passed and they still were in denial.

Then there was this girl who barely talks. She noticed everything. But just like others, she was too afraid to admit the truth. More likely, she was afraid of what will happen.

Another afternoon came but this time, there were no laughs nor stories. And the thought had started to sink in. She looked back only to find out that she was already alone. It's happening again, she thought.

When she went home, she looked to their old photographs. There was one picture where they were wearing this santa hat, while genuinely smiling over their own gifts. It's funny how a year can change people.
