I was flipping through Eleventh Law asks and I just realised we live in a timeline where Xan rolled Well with the Unstable Wand. And that the Alternative Setting makes everything like, ten times more Awful. I'm relieved we are in the Good Timeline in comparison, holy shit.

It's such a reclamation of identity and individuality and autonomy. The damage certainly hasn't been undone--their lives have been taken away from them for a long time, and it's not as easy as things just Going Back To Normal.
