i think surprisingly there has been very little infiltration of grief into the holidays even with the anniversary of bobby's death being so close largely because he has memories of them when they were younger which are happy and nostalgic that he holds on to and also because the last three holidays bobby showed up supremely fucked up every single time which he doesn't ever want to experience again
