Have you seen the tweets Brendan is liking on twitter???? WTF??!! Is that really necessary? Way to piss us off, lol. I'm liking Brendan less and less... And honest to god I dont get why Louis is pushing for him so much. This week it was all Brendan, Brendan, Brendan... culminating in promoting him to his 14M followers while ignoring the others... And now this.... it's so annoying.
I’m not following any of the contestants on any social media. I didn’t see the likes related to Larry/Larries that I’ve seen some people referencing, but having scrolled through his likes quickly, it seems like he’s liking almost every single complimentary tweet about him. At the end of the day, keep in mind that these are contestants on a reality show that requires the public to vote for them. They are all doing what they can to get attention and votes. Our fandom is extremely easy to get positive attention from as long as you interact with fans and are nice about one of the boys (in this case, it’s Louis). It’s not surprising to me that some of the contestants are doing obnoxious things as a result. Of course it’s unnecessary and of course it’s stupid and annoying and of course I’m not excusing it, but it’s not like this is a shocking turn of events. If people don’t like what he’s doing, I’d suggest you don’t follow him, tweet him, or vote for him.
I will say though - I don’t really understand why you’re blaming Louis for supporting his own contestant. Brendan was toward the very bottom because of the public vote last week so of course Louis is going to push him hard this week. He’s supportive of all his contestants - Brendan’s just the focus at the moment because he was in jeopardy whereas the other two were not.
