The multiracial feminist fightback that has been leading powerful protests across the country over the past few weeks under the banner #GOPHandsOffMe is building momentum to bury for good the politics of racism and misogyny, led by women of color, survivors and our allies. Women of color represent 74 percent of the growth in eligible women voters since 2000. We are the power that organizes communities before, during and after any election. We are not anyone’s margin of victory. We, and our allies who stand with us, represent a powerful, multiracial, feminist leadership. We stand united, ready to lead, and we have agendas that we are planning to move. In the #first100hours after election day – we are showing the entire country that the leadership of women of color does not end at the ballot box. We will remind people that this election was about our lives - Black lives, women’s lives, immigrant lives, and the lives of LGBTQ folks. Our victory in this election is not that one woman got a big new job. Our victory is in burying the politics of hate, of racialized violence and RapeCulture while building our power to put all politicians on notice. On November 10, wear black and get in formation with us at 8 Penn Center, 1628 JFK Boulevard as we celebrate our power and say: we are here, organized, and powerful, and we will hold all politicians accountable to a pro-woman, pro-immigrant, anti-hate agenda that includes a Vision4BlackLives and an end to RapeCulture. We are leading the way to create a country where we can live with dignity and thrive in lives free from inequality and sexual, racialized, and gender-based violence. There is no stopping us.
