Fuck it, I'm gonna get a part-time job.
Challenging problem with H's work mean he is unexpectedly away and maybe our staycation will be different, maybe it cannot happen. I guess we will have to wait and see. I'm trying to deal with it relatively calmly. I am having dark thoughts that I am not acting on or dismissing but rather trying to observe neutrally. A lot of desperation, a lot of 'if I did this very bad thing maybe people would treat me with kindness and care'. It comes from a place of having to be so independent for so long and feeling badly like I want to have someone recognise how difficult things are for me in this moment, without me having to articulate it in detail or asking for help explicitly. But I could just ask for the help, and so I have messaged a friend. And I'm sure it will be just as shameful an experience as it always is.
