Still chipping away at this chapter. Currently at 2,337 words and I still have a lot to address. Which is good, I like to at least have a consistent minimum of 3k per chapter.

Getting it done quickly enough is another matter, though. Especially when my computer likes to be a rebel. It was stuck updating all day, literally since 3am. Full on 14+ hours waiting to use my own computer, ugh.

Anyway, things are getting done at least, it's almost midnight.

I'm realizing how gritty I write stuff now than I use to while rewriting this first chapter of Chance. Trying to tame my characters from being overly emotional, or overly psychotic, is tough. I never knew how much I wanted to just make my characters shred themselves apart before.

Shows how my mind works though, yeah?

I remember when I first started writing Chance - and I was completely fascinated with numb and emotionally inept characters - because at that time in my life I was super exhausted with everything and numb to pretty much every emotion known to man, haha. Now, I like characters that show their break downs, that break and fight, and scream, for the things they know are right and they know they want.

Anyway, quick introspection before I close out of my stuff and settle for the night.
