You all head back to the cave to gather your stuff before heading back to Arkadia. 

“I don’t understand it either. Something about those chips,” Monty says as you nod in agreement.

“We’ll know soon enough. Be ready,” Sinclair replies.

“O, wait. You can’t just leave,” Bellamy says as the two of you notice Octavia packing up.

“Watch me,” She replies.

“You heard what Jasper said on the radio. Arkadia is not safe,” Bellamy replies back.

“What Jasper said sounds insane. Pike’s gone. I can handle myself. Grounders burn their dead,” Octavia says.

“I know that. And then what? Where are you gonna go?” Bellamy says.

“You don’t get to ask me that,” Octavia snaps.

“What more do I have to do to prove that I am on your side?” Bellamy asks.

“Bring Lincoln back. Turning Pike in does not make you one of the good guys, Bellamy. You did that to save me. Not because what you thought Pike was doing to the Grounders was wrong. ” O responds.

“The Grounders were starving us out,” Bellamy states.

“Because you massacred an army that was sent to protect us,” You interrupt.

“That army could have attacked us at any time, and you both know that,” Bellamy says, turning his attention to you.

“But they didn’t attack. You did that,” You say.

“You were hurting, and you lashed out. Because that’s what you do. There are consequences, Bel. People get hurt. People die. Your people. Monroe’s dead. Lincoln is dead,” Octavia adds before walking away. Bellamy goes to follow O out of the cave, and you hear the noise of an approaching rover.

“They’re here,” You hear Miller say from outside the cave. You walk out of the cave and see Clarke get out of the rover.

“Need your help! We have to get her inside before she wakes up!” You hear Jasper yell and look to see him carrying Raven.

“Were you followed?” Bellamy asks.

“Maybe. I don’t know.,” Jasper responds.

“Get to the ridge. Radio if you spot anyone following. Harper will stay here on watch,” Miller says.

“Octavia, come one. We need you,” Clarke says as you all head into the cave.

“What the hell happened to her?” Sinclair asks.

“I told you on the radio, Raven is not Raven anymore. None of them are. Jaha has been chipping everyone,” Jasper explains.

“Jasper’s right. I’ve seen it with my own eyes,” Clarke confirms.

“I don’t need your help, all right?” Jasper snaps.

“Just take it easy and explain,” You say calmly.

“Jaha is using the chips to control everyone. You swallow it, and it changes you. You forget who you are, and then you see this thing, Alie. Only she’s not really there. She made Raven slit her own wrists. She was trying to get her out of her head. I was trying to help her but –,” Jasper explains.

“Okay, so let’s help her now. Did she say how?” Sinclair interrupts.

“She was working on building something. She needed one of her old wristbands, but Jaha destroyed all of them,” Jasper says.

“Wait a second,” Clarke says before pulling out a little item of some sort. “Does it look like this?” Clarke says.

“Not exactly,” Jasper says. 

Suddenly, you notice Raven running away, and you all chase after her, “Don’t let her get away,” Clarke yells.

“It’s just woods. I can’t see anything,” Raven says as everyone goes to restrain her.

“If Raven finds out where we are, so will Alie. She’ll come for her,” Jasper says before sticking something in her neck.

“We have to go,” Clarke says.

“Why? Alie doesn’t know where we are,” Bellamy questions.

“Because I know where we can get a wristband,” Clarke says. You pack everything up and head to some outpost Clarke tells you about.

“I’ll talk to her,” Clarke says.

“I’ll go with you,” You say and get out of the rover. 

“I thought you said she was a friend,” Octavia says after noticing the blade the woman is holding.

“We’ll handle it. Just stay here,” Clarke says.

“Skaikru is not welcome here, Wanheda,” The woman says as you approach.

“Niylah, what’s wrong?” Clarke asks the woman.

“She’s waking up. Hurry! Let’s get her inside,” You hear Sinclair.

“Is your father here?” Clarke asks.

“My father’s dead. Part of an army killed by your people while trying to protect you,” Niylah says.

“Niylah, please.” Clarke asks.

“I said no,” She responds.

“We haven’t got time for this. Move! Move!” Bellamy says, coming up with his gun ready. “Get her in there,” Bellamy says.

“I told you my mom was here. If she was chipped, Alie would know,” Monty states.

“That’s why we’re putting her in the back, through there,” Clarke says. “Tie her to the bed,” Clarke says, tossing you some rope.

Raven begins to struggle and takes off her blindfold, “Where the hell am I?” She yells.

“Hold her,” Sinclair says. As she struggles, you all begin to tie her to the bed. She punches you in the face as she fights everyone to find out where she is.

“Hold her hands! Fight it!” Bellamy says as you all are finally able to get her hands and feet restrained.

“Let me go!” She yells as you all watch her. 

You walk out from the back with Clarke, Monty, and Sinclair to talk about a game plan. “How the hell do we get that thing out of her head?” You ask.

“Working on it,” Monty replies before Clarke talks to Niylah.

Bellamy walks back to you, “ You okay?” He asks, noticing you rub your face.

“Yeh. You?” You respond.

“Fine,” He responds. 

You all file into a different room to figure out how Raven wanted to use the old wristband. “Niylah said we can work in here. So how do we do this?” Clarke says.

“We think Raven wanted to use this wristband to generate an EMP. Which is freakishly brilliant,” Sinclair explains as Monty inspects it.

“Meaning what?” Bellamy asks.

“A targeted electromagnetic pulse could destroy the chip’s circuitry. We could use this to send an EMP along Raven’s own nervous system. Just need to reverse the polarity, wire for external input, and attach a battery,” Sinclair further explains.

“But what would that do to her?” You ask.

“EMPs don’t affect our bodies. But I don’t know the mechanics of how this chip integrates with her brain,” Sinclair says.

“This was Raven’s plan. She wouldn’t do it if it was gonna destroy her brain,” Bellamy says.

“Depends how bad she wanted it out,” Octavia says, coming into the room.

“Regardless, without an electromagnet, this is just talk,” Sinclair says.

“Where do we get one?” You ask.

“The Ark. Every station had a pulsed inductive thruster for maneuvering,” Sinclair says.

“Arkadia’s out of the question. It’s too dangerous, you heard them,” Bellamy states.

“We use the dropship. It has PI thrusters just like the Ark,” Monty says.

“That’s good. Okay. I’ll go salvage the magnet,” Sinclair says. 

“Uhh no. You should stay with Raven and figure out how this thing works. I’ll take the rover. Be back by the time you finish the device,” Monty says.

“I’ll go with you,” Octavia says.

“Guys!” You hear Jasper yell from the other room. You get into the room and see Raven trying to get her ties off and Jasper standing there and doing nothing.

“Stop her!” You urge.

“Jasper, get that side,” Bellamy says.

“She’s reopened her wounds. She’s gonna bleed to death. I need bandages.” Clarke says. 

“Raven, stop fighting us,” You say as Clarke tries to clean up her wounds.

“Alie. Alie. Alie! Look at me. I know you can hear this. Why are you doing this to her? Let her go,” Jasper says.

“I’ll let her go when you give me what I want. The technology that Clarke carries, it belongs to me,” Raven says in a voice that's not hers.

“No way,” Clarke says.

“Clarke, just give it to her. Clarke!” Jasper says.

“If you let Raven die, you’ll never get it,” Clarke responds. All of a sudden, Raven stops struggling. “Untie her wrist. Hold her steady,” Clarke says and then works on fixing Raven’s shoulder.

“Clarke. She’s never gonna stop trying to get away. We can’t let her hurt herself again. Someone has to stay with her,” You state.

“I’ll be first watch. We’ll take turns,” Clarke says.

“You don't give the orders, Clarke,” Jasper erupts.

“Guess he doesn’t forgive you for murdering his girlfriend,” Raven says.

“Jasper, take a break,” You say before walking back into the front of the outpost.

“Hey, you good?” You hear Bellamy say from behind you.

“Just peachy,” You respond sarcastically. “You?” 

“Could be better,” Bellamy says. “You sure you’re good?” He asks, rubbing where Raven punched you. 

“Yeh. Just a little scratch,” You say and move his hand from your face. 

“I’m sorry if I hurt you in any way,” He says.

“Sorry? You massacred an army that wouldn’t have attacked if it weren’t for you and Pike. Maybe we could’ve avoided this chaos if you stopped him,” You say.

“I understand what I did was wrong, but –” Bellamy starts before you hear Clarke yelling from inside the tradepost. The both of you rush in and pull Clarke out of the room. 

“I’ll take next watch,” You say and head into the room with Raven. “Don’t even think about it, Alie, “ You say, knowing that she’ll try to get into your head too. Bellamy and Jasper come in to join you a few moments later, taking the seats on the other side of the table. 

“Look at your united front,” Raven says. “Tell me, why do you give Bellamy a pass for murdering your girlfriend? What was her name?” Raven asks.

“Don’t talk about Maya, “ Jasper says under his breath.

“You don’t have to listen to this,” You say.

“Let’s protect Jasper. Jasper’s so sensitive. Jasper’s lost someone. Everyone cater to his feelings. We’ve all lost someone. You don’t see us falling apart. You don’t see us getting wasted. Being useless,” Raven taunts.

“No, you took a pill to take your pain away. You gave up your memories,” Jasper responds.

“But then, why should we expect anything more? You used to get high off people’s medicine. Being a selfish loser was your only move,” Raven says.

“Stop,” Jasper says.

“That’s all we see when we look at you. A coward. A waste of breath. Why do you even bother living? You’re weak. Pathetic. You can’t save me. You can’t even save yourself. You couldn’t save whats-her name,” Raven continues.

“You know her name!” Jasper bursts out.

“Jasper, think. It’s not Raven talking. And you’re giving her what she wants. Go, “You say to Jasper. He thinks a little bit before walking out of the room, realizing you were right.

“And then there were two. The two that couldn’t even save their own parents. Did you know that you two shared that? That you both killed your own parents? You,” Raven taunts, turning her head towards you. “You killed all those guards and yet still failed at saving him. In fact, you killed both of your parents. Even after stealing all that medicine, your mom still didn’t survive her sickness,” Raven says.

“You don’t know me or have a right to speak about my life,” You say.

“And now, you’re trying to run away from that life, the life of a comfortable, privileged, little girl with parents on the Council. You have been ever since you were locked up. Making sure no one knew who you used to be. Pretending to be someone who didn’t have the privileges that you did,” Raven continues.

“What makes you think that?” I question.

“And you,” Raven says, turning her head to Bellamy. “Does it bother you that you don’t get any credit for the genocide at Mount Weather? Clarke gets to be the Commander of Death, but you murdered all these people, too, and you’re just forgotten. Then again…you didn’t get any credit for the culling on the Ark, either. How many people suffocated when you threw away my radio? You know, at least Clarke was saving her own people. You were just saving your own ass. Of course, that’s nothing… compared to killing your own mom. Just. Like. Y/N. You just had to take little sister to her first dance. You might as well have just shoved Aurora out the airlock yourself. Do you think she would be proud of you now? For the kind of leader, you’ve become? Or would she see the truth, like the rest of us do?  That you're a follower. Clarke’s been back one day, and you’re already taking orders. Too bad you were never that devoted to Gina,” raven says.

“You don’t know what you’re talking about,” Bellamy says back.

“Don’t worry. Gina was already dead when mount weather blew up. And you avenged her, right? I mean, you picked up a gun and slaughtered an army that was sent to protect us. That had nothing to do with blowing sweet Gina to bits. But, hey, a grounders a grounder, right?” Raven says as Niylah enters the room.

“My father… you killed him,” Niylah says and slaps Bellamy.

“Niylah. Niylah. You can’t be in here,” Clarke says as she tries to drag her out.

“It’s too late. Raven’s already seen her. Alie knows we’re here,” jasper says, upset. 

You follow Bellamy outside and watch as he kicks a barrel over. Knowing he’s upset. He starts to punch something, and you run towards him. “Bell, Bell. Hey,” You say, taking his hand into yours. “She’s getting into your head, trying to rile you up. Just like she’s done to the rest of us. You know what she said isn’t true,” You say.

“Yes, it is,” He responds.

“Look, yes. Some of the facts are right, but Alie. She doesn’t know the real you,” You say. 

He sighs, “Are you ok? I mean the things–,” He starts.

“I’m fine,” You say as you hear a rover approach.

“You sure you don’t want to talk about it?” He asks.

“I’m fine,” You say and kiss his cheek. Luckily it was Monty and Octavia.

“What happened?” You ask as Monty just walks past both of you. You all make it back to the room Ravenn is in as Sinclair starts to explain when needs to be done.

“All we have to do is connect her and activate the electromagnet,” Sinclair says. You all start to work on getting everything set up, but Raven struggles and then begins banging her head on the back of the bed. 

“She’s trying to kill herself,” Bellamy realizes. You all struggle to restrain her, but it's no use.

“Stop, and I’ll give you this,” Clarke says as she holds up the Flame. Raven immediately stops, and you quickly grab the wristband and put it on Raven.

“No, you lied! You lied! No. No, please, don’t. The MEP will give me brain damage. You know it will. Please, don’t do this,” Raven pleads. 

“Don’t listen to her,” Octavia says.

“Please. You know it will! Sinclair, stop! Sinclair, no. No!” Raven continues to plead.

“We’ve only got one shot at this. EMP will fry the wristband, too,” Sinclair says.

“Do it,” Bellamy says. Once everything was ready, Sinclair quickly works to start the EMP. 

“What’s happening?” You ask as it seemed like nothing had happened. 

“Nothing. We need more power. The battery’s not strong enough,” Sinclair says.

“Well, then get one, that is,” Clarke says.

“The rover,” Monty responds. Monty and Bellamy go to grab the battery from the rover and switch it out for the other battery. Sinclair activates the EMP, and Raven screams out in pain before her body finally relaxes.

“She’s breathing,” You say as you feel her pulse.

“Raven? Come on, Raven. Hey. Come on, wake up,” Clarke says, shaking her.

“What are you doing?” Clarke says as Jasper hastily moves to the other side of the room.

“Don’t move!,” He says, placing the box with the Flame in it on the table.

“No. You can’t. No. Give it back,” Clarke says.

“Alie did that to Raven. She’s never gonna get this!” Jasper says as he gets ready to smash the Flame.

“Don’t! Stop. it’s Lexa. part of her is still in there. I saw them cut it out of her head. I’m not…” Clarke says before stopping herself.

“What is it?” Bellamy asks. 

“Both the AIs were made by the same person. Both tap into human consciousness. They must work similarly, right?” Clarke asks.

“Well, there’s probably only one pathway to consciousness, so it’s possible, yeah,” Sinclair says.

“What does this have to do with anything?” Octavia asks.

“I’ve seen an AI get removed before. Help me get her on her side,” Clarke says, and you all work to move Raven. “Get that med kit from my bag,” Clarke requests and cuts into the back of Raven’s neck. Soon enough, a gross goo comes out of her neck.

“What is that?” You ask.

“It must be whatever’s left of the chip,” Sinclair says. Soon enough, Raven starts to wake up.

“I never thought i’d be so happy to see someone in pain,” Octavia says, noticing how stiff Raven is from all of the pain she put herself in.

“I could’ve saved my mom,” Monty says. Making you realize that his mom had died when they went to the Dropship. He walks out of the room before anyone could say anything. 

“Alie knows we're here. We gotta move,” Bellamy says, and you all begin to pack up.

You go to wrap some cloth around the hand that Bellamy injured, “You’ll recover,” You say.

“Will I?” He responds. “What do you do when you realize…you might not be the good guy?” He questions.

“Maybe there are no good guys,” You respond. You start to walk off to help load the rover, but Bellamy grabs your arm.

“Hey. Are you sure you’re alright? You don’t want to tal–” Bellamy says.

“We need to go,” You say, pushing him off and going to load the rover.

“Hey. there’s one thing I don’t understand. Why did Alie want you to kill yourself?” Clarke asks Raven.

“Because I know why she wants a second AI,” Raven says.

“Why?” Bellamy questions.

“It’s the only thing that can stop her,” Raven reveals.

“Then let’s stop her. We survive together,” Octavia says, and you all get into the rover.

You all head back to the cave that you and Octavia had taken Bellamy to. “Where’s Lincoln?” Bellamy asks.

“Pike put a bullet in his brain,” Octavia says trying her hardest not to break down.

“O...O, I am so sorry,” Bellamy says right before Octavia connects her fist with his face. Bellamy doesn’t speak a word as Octavia continually lands punches on his face.

“Octavia, that’s enough,” Kane says.

“Kane, stay out of this,” Bellamy responds, accepting his fate. Octavia then begins to beat him even harder, letting out as much rage as possible. Even though Bellamy was the reason for Lincoln’s death, it wasn’t the easiest to watch his little sister punch him over and over again.

“Stop, that’s enough,” Miller says knowing the group couldn’t bear to standby. He tried to pull Octavia away but was just pushed back by a heartbroken and sobbing Octavia.

“Miller, back off,” Bellamy says. Octavia still punches her brother.

“You’re dead to me,” Octavia says to Bellamy before walking away to cool off. After everything seemed to have settled down, you all gather to make a plan on what the next steps are.

“I say, we run two-man patrols, round the clock, starting now.,” Bryan suggests.

“We’ll do that but we should be safe here. The grounder blockade’s too close for Pike to risk looking for us,” Kane says.

“Yeah, but are we safe from the blockade?” Bryan questions reasonably.

“As long as we stay on this side of the line, we should be,” Kane reassures.

“They’re grounders, you really think they’re gonna play by the rules?” Bryan asks.

“Hey, Pike will want you dead now, too. We take him out, we can go home,” Miller says.

“We take him out, then the grounders lift the blockade,” You add.

“That’s right. We become the 13th clan, again. Those were the terms.

“Lexa’s terms. If what Bellamy says is true and she’s dead, how do we know the next commander will honor them?” Sinclair asks.

“One problem at a time,” Kane answers.

“What about Clarke? With Lexa gone, she’s not safe at Polis,” Miller asks.

“Clarke made her choice,” You say.

“The only thing that matters now is killing Pike,” Octavia says breaking her silence.

“Octavia’s right. Once we resume our place in the commander’s coalition, Clarke will be safe, so how do we do it?” Kane asks you all.

“Bellamy, come in. It’s Monty, I’m in trouble. Please say you still have your radio,” You hear Monty say over the radio.

“If we respond and Pike’s listening--” Sinclair starts.

“We go to channel 7. ‘Please say you still have your radio.’ That’s seven words after the word “trouble.” It’s code, go to seven,” Bellamy interrupts. Everyone seems unsure until Kane gives the go-ahead to do so. Sinclair turns the radio to channel 7 and hands it to Kane.

“Bellamy, are you there?” Monty asks again.

“Monty, it’s Kane. What’s wrong?” Kane says answering for Bellamy.

“Pike knows that I helped you get out,” Monty says.

“Can you get to the dropship?” Kane asks.

“I think so,” He responds.

“Good. Go there, I’ll bring you in. Stay off the radio. Over and out,” Kane says.

“Hold on, what if it’s a trap and Pike’s waiting?” Harper asks.

“That’s why I’m going alone,” Kane says.

“Like hell you are,” Octavia protests.

“I agree with Octavia. That’s stupid and dangerous,” You say.

“I’m with Octavia and Y/N. Monty saved our lives. I’m going too,” Miller says.

“No, you’re not. If it is a trap, I’m not marching our entire insurgency into it,” Kane says.

“To stop me, you’re gonna have to kill me,” Octavia says.

“She hopes it’s a trap,” Bellamy says.

“He’s coming, too. We’ll need a hostage to trade for Monty,” Octavia says. Seeing as there is no way to convince Octavia otherwise, Kane agrees with her plan.

“He stays chained, gag him,” Kane says.

“Sir, with all due respect--” Miller starts.

“He’s the enemy. Do what I said,” Kane says, giving you no choice. You all then prepare to make your way to the dropship, but the rest stay behind in case.. Kane, Octavia, and Bellamy head into the opening as you hide.

“Monty?” Kane yells out, but no appearance or response.

“Get outside! Now!” Octavia yells after taking a hold of Bellamy. Soon enough Monty appears, but so does a gun behind his head with Pike holding it.

“He followed me. I’m sorry,” Monty says.

“Let him go, Pike,” Kane says.

“Can’t do that,” Pike says before a gunshot hits by their feet. You quickly look to see where it came from. “It’s over. Put down your weapons. Come on, Marcus,” Pike says and another bullet hits the ground by their feet. “I promised Monty’s mother that I’d bring him home alive. Don’t make me a liar,” Pike says. Kane then lowers his gun and tosses it away from himself. “Now, you,” Pike says to Octavia. 

Octavia doesn’t obey and instead moves her machete to the front of Bellamy’s throat. Bellamy then takes her arm and wraps it around, not letting her get leverage and the rest of Pikes group comes out of into the clearing, handcuffing Octavia. Pike comes up to Bellamy, but they’re talking too quietly for you to hear. 

“You son of a ---” Octavia yells as she’s hit with a baton after Bellamy says something.

“Sir. I found one more,” A man says as he pulls you out of the bushes. They don’t hesitate to handcuff you and bring you with the others. Bellamy leads the way back to the cave, with Pike’s people.

“Sure about the route?” Pike asks Bellamy. “We’re getting close to the blockade line,”

“That’s why Kane set up out here. He didn’t think we’d risk it,” Bellamy says.

“Well, he was wrong,” Pike responds.

“What’s gonna happen to my sister and Y/N? I know they have to answer for their crimes, but--” Bellay asks.

“I’ll tell you what. I’ll make you the same promise I made to Monty’s mother. But this will only apply to Octavia, Y/N still has to answer for her crimes.  Immunity from all past actions, but if she screws up again--,” Pike says.

“Oh, she won’t. I’ll make sure of it. My sister, my responsibility. But what about Y/N’s punishment,” Bellamy says.

“I’ll have to talk to the rest. It depends on what all of her accusations are,” Pike says. Bellamy stays silent, you guess that he doesn’t know how to respond.

You all continue to trek through the forest getting closer and closer to the blockade. “Hold on,” Pike says, feeling like something is off.

“The cave’s just on the other side,” Bellamy says. You’re not exactly sure what he was planning, but you are awfully close to the blockade.

“Keep a sharp eye out,” Pike says to his men as Bellamy moves into the clearing. You and the rest of the group move gingerly into the clearing. Soon enough you hear a horn go off.

“The blockade. Anybody got eyes?” Pike yells.

“I got nothing,” A man says.

“Back to higher ground,” Pike says turning towards the hill.

“Drop your weapon,” Bellamy says taking Pikes handgun from his holster.

“What the hell are you doing?” Pike asks.

“Drop your weapon!” Bellamy yells. You notice Pike’s men starting to turn to hold their guns towards you, so you and Octavia fight back despite your hands being bound.

“We bring you Chancellor Pike of the Sky People. O, translate,” Bellamy says. Octavia pulls out her gag and translates.

“You’ve killed us all,” Pike says to Bellamy.

“Take him. Lift this blockade,” Bellamy says. Octavia translates and the archers take out Pike’s people, before coming in for an ambush. Octavia goes in to kill Pike, but Kane stops her.

Pike tries to go for Bellamy’s gun, but a grounder archer puts an arrow in his shoulder and another one knocks him out.

“Where are you taking him?” Kane asks and the grounders pick Pike up.

“To the new Commander,” The grounder says.

“May I join you?” Kane asks and shows his mark of the 13th clan. “We’re the 13th clan,” 

“Don’t slow us down,” The man says and walks away.

“Are you sure? We know nothing about the new commander,” You ask.

“I’m sure. Go home. Tell our people what happened here. Tell Abby, I’ll look out for Clarke,” Kane says and heads off with the grounders after talking to Bellamy. The rest of you gather everything up and head back to Arkadia.

A/N: We’re back in the world of the 100. I hope you all enjoyed this part! I’m sorry if Y/N doesn’t have like a ton of parts right now, I’m trying to figure out what to exactly do with she/he/they during this time. Although, I do have a plan for later in the series.

Semet and the others took you and Octavia on the long journey back to Polis to see the Commander, Lexa. They didn’t stop as they wanted to get to polis as quick as possible.

“The Flamekeeper promised we would be heard!” Semet says as he bursts through the guards. The other men push you and Octavia forwards.

“Octavia. Y/N,” You barely hear Clarke. You look over to see her standing off to the side.

“Forgive me for intruding on this holy day, Commander. I am Semet of Trikru and I come seeking justice,” Semet says to Lexa.

“Explain yourself. Why do you hold Octavia and Y/N of Skaikru prisoner?” Lexa questions.

“She is a prisoner of war, Commander -- brought here to bear witness to the crimes of their people,” Semet explains.

“What crimes? What happened?” Clarke questions both Semet and Titus.

“Skaikru attacked their village. Because their warriors were lost when your people massacred the army we had sent to protect you, their village was defenseless,” Titus explains.

“Please, Commander. I beg you. Avenge us,” Semet says.

“Blood must have blood!” A woman in the crowd says.

“Death to Skaikru!” A man says as the others in the room start to get agitated.

“You will show respect in this chamber!” Titus says to the upset grounders. Once the other grounders had calmed down a bit, Clarke, Lexa and Titus leave to discuss what to do. After a few minutes they return, silencing the other grounders.

“Today I call upon the armies of the 12 clans to march on Arkadia. Not to attack, but to contain. We will blockade the 13th clan. We will keep them from the lands they wish to possess. We will give them time to take out their leaders from within. Once they rise up against them, then we will welcome them back as one of us,” Lexa announces.

“You heard the commander. Send riders. Tell your armies to set up a buffer zone around Arkadia. 5 miles should be enough to keep them away from our villages. What are their orders, Heda?” Titus says.

“Any Skaikru caught across the line will be subject to a kill order,” Lexa says surprising us.

“Heda, I do not understand. How is this vengeance?” Seme asks, questioning Lexa’s commands.

“It is not vengeance, my brother. It is justice,” Lexa responds.

“Skaikru killed my sons. And my brother and my wife. If the spirit of the commander will not protect us then what will?” Semet says to the others..

“You mind yourself, Semet,” Titus reminds him.

“Death to the commander!” Semet yells. He charges at Lexa, but Titus was able disarm and stab him in the throat him before he could get close.

“Blood must have blood,” Titus says to Lexa. After the events in the chamber, they had released you and Octavia and allowed you to talk to Clarke.

“No wonder you wanted to stay,” Octavia says to Clarke.

“Stop. You know why i’m here. Are you two ok?” Clarke asks.

“Yeah,” You and Octavia say in unison.

“I saw Indra in the crowd. Why wasn’t she with Lexa?” Octavia says.

“Indra’s not doing so well. We can’t deal with that right now,” Clarke says.

“Ok, so what do we do?” You ask.

“I have to talk to Lexa,” Clarke responds.

“You just did that and came out with a kill order on all of us. That’s the second time that she left us all to die,” You point out.

“The 12 clans want a war. You two know that. Lexa’s just trying not to wipe us out,” Clarke says.

“Why am I not surprised that you’re still defending her?” Octavia says.

“I’ll see what I can do. Stay here, both of you,” Clarke says.

“Yeah, right,” You say under your breath. 

“Let’s go,” Octavia says implying she agrees with you. You walk around Polis as Octavia is taken to see Indra.

“How is she?” You ask as Octiavia finds you in the crowd.

“Not good. She’s giving up,” She responds.

“That doesn’t sound like Indra,” You say.

“It isn’t,” Octavia says as the two of you make your way back to the tower.

“She told you you can stay, didn’t she?” You ask walking into Clarke’s room.

“What did you say?” Octavia adds.

“Nothing,” Clarke responds.

“Clarke, we all know that Pike won’t obey the blockade. We need to stop him before more of our people get killed,” You say.

“What if I can do more for them by just staying here?” Clarke asks.

“You can’t, Clarke. We don’t have time for this,” Octavia doesn’t hesitate to say.

“Look. We need you. The kill order goes into effect at dawn. You have an hour to say your good-byes,” You say before you walk out with Octavia.

“If you’re not there, you’re not the person I thought you were,” Octavia says before you leave the room.

“Do you think she’s coming?” You ask Octavia.

“I don’t know. But I hope she does,” She responds. The two of you head down to the edge of the city and wait for Clarke to show up. About an hour passes and you don;t see any sign of Clarke so the two of you start to leave.

“Octavia and Y/N kom Skaikru,” You hear from behind you. The both of you immediately recognize the voice to be Indra’s and you see a smile form on Octavia’s face. Indra then joins the two of you as you leave Polis.

The next morning you wake up to Bellamy, Pike, and his followers walking in from the gates with guns in their hands and blood on their vests.

“I thought they were in lock-up?” You asked coming up to Octavia.

“Pike won as a write-in,” Octavia says. You didn’t say anything else as you watched them walk in from whatever they just did. “Bellamy, you okay?” Octavia asks making her way to her brother.

“I’m fine,” He replied practically ignoring her.

“What happened out there?” You asked, but he just walked past you.

“Lock it up,” Pike says as he walks into Arkadia. “Everybody, listen up. 24 hours ago, you elected me your Chancellor. Every action I’ve taken since, and every action I will take, will be to achieve one sacred goal. The creation of a self-sustaining, prosperous, and safe Arkadia. This morning, on a muddy field, our people paid tribute to those who have been taken from us by sending a message to the grounders. This land is ours now. Resist and you will be met by force. Fight and you will be greeted by death. Today is a new beginning. Mark it down, remember it just like the grounders will remember it,” Pike says to everyone outside.

Once Pike and his group were inside, Kane didn’t hesitate to approach Octavia and you. You all made your way through the halls of the Ark, “Is it true you tried to leave camp to see Indra yesterday?” Kane asks Octavia.

“Look, don’t you have more important things to worry about than who’s sneaking out of camp?” She asks back.

“As it turns out, that’s why you two are here,” Kane says as you and Octavia look around to where you stopped. “Indra signaled. She wants to meet. I’d go myself, but Pike’s watching everything I do now,” Kane explains.

“You want us to go see Indra?” You ask.

“I need you to,” He says handing us our machetes.

“If I can speak for the both of us. We’re in. But how do we get out? The gate is armed with--” You start as Kane lifts a panel on the wall.

“Crawlspace door in 20 feet, drops you outside the camp wall. Get out there. You find out what the hell happened and you report back here. Can you two do that?” Kane asks. 

“I was born for this,” Octavia says before Kane was called to the Chancellor’s office.

“Be safe,” Kane says to me.

“You too,” You say and head down the crawlspace after Octavia. 

You and Octavia make it out of Arkadia and head to the hill where the army was. When you got there, you couldn’t believe what they had done. There were dead grounders everywhere. The two of you made your way to the tent and found, Lexa, Clarke, Indra, and a few others inside.

“Octavia? Y/N? Where’s Kane?” Clarke says.

“He sent us,” You say.

“Indra. Thank god,” Octavia says sitting down next to her.

“How did this happen?” Lexa asks.

“Kane lost the election to Pike. Everything’s different,” You explain.

“Your people voted for this,” Lexa says.

“No. No, I don’t believe that” Clarke says.

“How would you know, Clarke? You haven’t been here,” You say.

“Listen to me. The grounder army is gonna be here in less than a day. I need to see Bellamy,” Clarke says.

“Bellamy was a part of this. He’s with Pike. What makes you think he’ll help us”? Octavia says.

“He saved Indra’s life. If what Octavia and Y/N is saying is true, then Pike trusts him. If I can get to him, he can get to Pike,” Clarke tells Lexa.

“You can’t just walk through the gates, Clarke. You’ve been living with their enemy. If it were me, I’d kill you on the spot,” Lexa says.

“We can get her in,” You say. The three of you head back to Arkadia and sneak Clarke in. You take Clarke to your room and wait there as Octavia gets Bellamy.

“Do you know what’s going on with Bellamy? I mean I can’t believe he’d do something like this,” Clarke says as you wait.

“Ater Gina died, he’s just been giving us a cold shoulder. And I think he just wants to avenge her,” You say before the door opens up.

“Now, I’m done,” Octavia says and walks out. You follow to allow them to speak alone.

“What happened?” You ask her.

“Lincoln and the rest of the sick grounders were interned. And he tried to tell me that I need to stop playing grounder. He just….ugh,” Octavia explains.

“Are you serious? For what?” You ask.

“For being grounders,” Octavia says.

“This is ridiculous. We need to figure out what the hell is going on,” You say.

“I agree,” Octavia says as you hear voices from down the hall. You recognized them as Bellamy and Clarke, which means this probably wasn’t good.

“Believe it or not, I’m doing this for your own good,” Bellamy says.

“Believe it or not, I’m doing this for yours,” Octavia says taking down the guard with them.

“You can’t just hit a guard,” Bellamy says.

“She just did,” You say.

“Let her go,” Octavia says.

“I can’t do that,” Bellamy responds.

“They’re coming,” Clarke says as we heard voices further down the hall.

“You two should go,” Bellamy says before Clarke takes a baton to Bellamy.

“Y/N, hurry up,” Octavia says and you try to find the key to unlock the cuffs. “Follow me,” She says after you find it. You all make it back to the panel where Kane and Abby were waiting.

“Mom?” Clarke asks as Kane takes no time to lift the panel. 

“We know what happened. We know what Pike did. Is there anything we can do to prevent retaliation?” Abby asks.

“Abby, hurry,” Kane says.

“We came here to give them Pike,” Octavia blurts out.

“He’s the duly elected Chancellor. Our people knew what they were voting for. Besides, he has the gaurs and all the guns. Can’t get close to him,” Kane explains.

“And that’s not the way we do things,” Abby says.

“Then maybe it’s time we changed the way we do things,” Octavia says as someone announces a security breach over the PA.

“You three need to go, now,” Kane whispers.

“What about Lincoln?” Octavia asks.

“You want to help him? Do it from outside. With this. The range isn’t great, stay close and wait for me to contact you. Go,” Kane says and hands Octavia a radio. The three of you quickly head into the crawlspace and head outside the wall. You and Octavia wait outside of the camp as Clarke goes to talk with Lexa.

The next morning Bellamy asked if you could come help them on the Mount Weather run. With nothing else to do around camp you join Bellamy, Raven, Gina and Octavia to Mount Weather.

“I knew we should’ve taken out horses,” You say hoping out of the back of a rover. You unload the truck and get ready to bring the supplies into Mount Weather.

“Hey, you guys, did I ever tell you how I save Sinclair’s ass on the Ark?” Raven asks.

“Please don’t,” Octavia says annoyed.

“You mean the time you went rogue on a spacewalk?” Gina asks.

“That depends on your definitionog ‘going rogue’,” Raven replies as you head into Mount Weather.

“Really?” You say.

“I just hopped on a robotic arm and aimed at the solar ray. The whole time I was out there, the control room thought I was just fixing a loose wire,” Raven says.

“That is, in fact, the definition of ‘going rogue’. You dangled yourself within inches of an electrified array that could have killed you,” Gina says.

“Only time i’ve heard Sinclair lose his cool on comms,” Raven says. Raven and Gina continue to talk as we approach the dinning area, where other Ark membners were hanging out.

“Welcom,” Pike says getting up from his chair. “ Come. Join us,” Pike says.

“Someone’s made themselves at home,” You say quietly.

“There must be thirty of them in here,” Octavia says.

“36, but the more the merrier,” Pike replies. Bellamy walks up to Pike and shakes his hand.

“36? Wow! The grounders are gonna think we moved in,” Octavia says a little annoyed.

“Well, there was no room at the inn,” Pike says.

“And this was your option?” You ask.

“Y/N,” Bellamy warns.

“I’m outta here,” Octavia says. She hands you her bag before heading out of the room. Pike snickers but you don’t like what he’s up to either. Raven goes off to do what Sinclair told her as you and Gina help unload some of the items you brought. After you finished you decided to see where Octavia went off to. As you made your way out of Mount Weather you notice as two guards are escorting a grounder.

“Echo?” Bellamy says after he and Octacia come dow from the top of the ladder.

“You know her?” You ask.

“Yeah, she’s Ice Nation. She was in the cage next to mine,” Bellamy explains.

“Bellamy,” She says.

“Let her go,” Bellamy demands to the guards.

“She threated the summit,” One of the guards says.

“I was trying to help,” Echo says.

“Shut up,” The guard says and pushes Echo to the ground.

“Leave her alone,” Octavia says.

“I said get you hands off her,” Bellamy says.

“What are you doing? She’s a grounder,” The guard says as you cut Echo loose.

“What are you talking about?” Bellamy asks.

“The summits a trap. The assassin is already there. At sundown, your people will die,” Echo explains. The three of you rush into Mount Weather to gather others and get more information. “I was with the queen’s army hrading towards Polis. The war Cheif talks too loud,” Echo explains to Pike, you, Octavia and Bellamy.

“You’re one of them. So why are you telling us this?” Pike questions.

“We abandoned Skaikru in the battle for the mountain. It was wrong,” Echao says.

“And won;t they miss you?” Pike asks.

“Maybe. That’s why we need to hurry,” Echo says.

“Pike, she saved my life. We can trust her. Listen up. Okay, if we want to get to Polis before the attack, we have to move,” Bellamy says.

“Attack? Do we have confirmation of that?” Sinclair asks as he, Raven and Gina make their way to us.

“We radioed, but no answer,” Bellamy says.

“They may already be dead for all we know. And if they are, we need to be ready to respond,” Pike says.

“Don’t make this about the missiles,” Sinclair says to Pike.

“This is about survival. We don’t have the numbers, but the missiles in this mountain even the playing field, and you know i’m right,” Pike says.

“Even if I did agree with you, we still don’t have the launch codes,” SInclair adds.

“No, but we have me,” Raven says.

“And you accuse engineers of arrogance?” Sinclair asks Raven.

“I’m growing as a person,” Raven replies before walking off.

“Let’s go,” Pike says to Echo before pulling her away. 

You wait as Bellamy talks to Gina, “ Don’t do anything stupidly heroic,” She says.

“I’ll make sure he doesn’t,” You say.

“Garden variety heroic., Got it,” Bellamy says looking between you and Gina.

“Come on, we gotta go before its too late,” You say. You, Pike, Echo, Bellamy and Octavia hop into the rover and head to Polis.

“Where are the guards? Protocol would be to leave someone behind,” Bellamy says as you all hop out.

“They did,” You say coming to the front of the other vehicle finding two guards with their throats slit. You and Octavia quickly pull out your machete’s, ready to fight.

“This was your people,” Pike says to Echo.  

“Screw you!” Echo says in trig.

“Hey, she warned us,” You say walking up to them.

“This proves she was telling the truth,” Octavia adds.

“We don’t have time for this. The attack is at sumdown,” Bellamy says.

“I’m not leaving my blade here,” Octavia says looking at the no weapons sign.

“Me neither,” You say.

“None of are. We go in through the tunnels. The entrance is this way,” Echo says and leads us to the underground entrance.

“How much further?” Bellamy asks Echo as you all walk through the tunnels.

“We’re almost there. The elevator shaft is just ahead,” Echo replies. You all stop as you head gears turning. Bellamy peaks his head around the corner.

“Two guards,” He whispers.

“They raise the lift. The elevator shaft is our only way in. We have to climb,” Echo explains.

“Pike peaks his head around the corner, “ I got left,” He says before making his way towards the guards and Bellamy follows. Bellamy goes to fight the other guard as he saw no other choice.

“What is wrong with you? You didn’t have to kill them,” Octavia says as you make your way to the wheel.

“Yeah, I did,” Bellamy replies. You shake you head in disbelief, not knowing what went through his head. Bellamy opens the door to the shaft, “How many floors?” He asks.

“All of them,” Echo responds. You all start to climb, hoping to make it in time to warn them. As soon as you make you way to the top, Bellamy and Pike grab the guards and enter the room.

“Bellamy?” Clarke asks.

“What is the meaning of this?” The man next to Lexa asks.

“The summits a trap. We need to get you out of here,” Bellamy says to Clarke. Who is dressed up for the summit.

“What the hell is going on?” Clarke asks Lexa.

“I don’t know,” Lexa responds.

“It’s the Ice Nation,” Bellamy says.

“These allegations are an outrage. The Ice Nation never stormed this summit with weapons, breaking our laws, that was the Skaikru,” A man says.

“We’re right about this. The two guards you left behind are dead already. We need to go now,” Pike reassures.

“How did you come by this information?” Lexa asks. You all look around but Echo was nowhere to be found.

“Where the hell is Echo?” You ask.

“What’s going on? Where the hell is she?” Bellamy asks as well.

‘Bellamy, maybe we were wrong about this,” Octavia says.

“I don’t understand,” Bellamy says.

“Stand down,” Kane says taking Bellamy’s gun.

“Bellamy. Bellamy, come in. The grounders attacked Mount Weather,” Raven says over the radio.

“What are you talking about?” Bellamy asks Raven.

“It’s gone, it’s gone. They’re all gone, Sinclair and I are the only ones left. I’m so sorry,” Raven sobs over the radio.

“You should’ve never moved your people back into Mount Weather. The Ice Nation did what Lexa was too weak to do,” The man says to the room.

“This is an act of war. Sentries, arrest the Ice Nation delegation! Including the prince,” Lexa demands as the two Ice Nation members are dragged away.

“I hope you two kept up your training. You’ll need it,” Indra says to you and Octavia.

“Clarke we need to leave now,” Bellamy says.

“We need an ambassador from the 13th clan to stay here in Polis,” Lexa says.

“It’s not safe here,” Bellamy says.

“Clarke will be safe here under my protection,” Lexa assures.

“I have to stay,” Clarke says to her mom.

“Clarke--” Abby replies not wanting to lose her daughter again.

“I have to make sure she keeps her word,” Clarke says.

“Commander, we must convene the war council immediately,” A man says to Lexa.

“I’ll be right there,” Clarke says. You hug Clarke before heading out with Abby and Kane.

The next morning you woke up to find Lincoln and Bellamy preparing to leave, “Hey,” Bellamy says leaning down to you.

“Hey,” You respond getting up. “You ready?” You ask.

“Yeh, we’re leaving in 10,” He responds as you stand up.

“I’ll let you get ready. Just be careful, okay?” You say.

“I will,” Bellamy says starting to walk away. 

Before you knew it you felt yourself pulling him into a hug. Neither of you said anything and stood there, for what felt like minutes. Soon enough, Bellamy pulled away as he needed to finish preparations. You watched as he and Lincoln walked off into the forest, hoping you’ll see him soon. Only a few minutes the rest of your group pack up and head back to Camp Jaha. 

After you settle back into camp, Kane tells you to go into the meeting room to wait for the grounders to arrive to talk about the war strategies. You reluctantly listen to him and go to wait. You stand next to Octavia as we waited for the grounder troops to arrive. Once they walked in you could feel the tension and the uneasiness between your people and the grounders.

“Quiet down,” Kane says as he enters the room, and then gestures for Indra to walk further into the room.

“Don’t worry. My shock baton’s got your guys back,” The guard next to Octavia and you says.

“How about you stick it up your ass instead?” Octavia says back.

“I know we don’t have a lot in common. But we do have a common enemy...and a common goal. And for us to reach it, to get our people out of Mount Weather...we need to work together,” Kane says before speaking some words in the grounder language. “Our survival depends on you sharing your knowledge of this world,” Kane continues before you notice Murphy shoving a grounder. Catching everyones attention in the room.

“Mr. Murphy. Apologize to that man,” Kane says.

“For what?” Murphy asks. “He was the pne who came at me,” Murphy says.

“Two days work detail,” Kane syas.

“Work detail? I just told you I didnt--”

“Care to make it three?” Kane interrupts and Murphy thankfully walked away yet the grounder kept speaking to him. Murphy could handle it and threw a punch at the grounder causing a fight to break out through the entire room. You and Octavia quickly worked to try to break it apart but it didn’t seem to work.

Soon enough you were able to settle the fight. Since Kanes little spiel didn;t seem to work every cleared out and the grounders went to train outside.

“Impressive...aren’t they?” Kane says to you and Octavia as you two walked up to watch the fights. Octavia had that same look in her eyes as you did, that you wanted to fight and train like them. “What doesn’t kill them...makes them stronger,” Kane says.

“I am,” Octavia walks to Indra after she says something in her language. You assume she asked whos next. 

“We’re supposed to train together. Right?” You ask following her and standing next to Octavia. You knew you wanted to get in there just as bad as Octavia. 

“Only warriors train here,” Indra says coldly.

“I saved your life,” Octavia says looking at Indra.

“And now i’m saving yours. Both of yours,” Indra says before speaking to her people. Octavia walked off clearly upset that Indra wouldn’t let her fight. You noticed as Kane made rounds to the guards shooting guns and decided to watch them. Kane tried to offer a grounder to shoot a gun before Indra interfered. 

“Guns keep them alive. It’s like they’re afraid of them,” Kane says as the grounders go back to their training.

“They are. Legend has it if a grounder picks up a gun, even to shoot another grounder...Mount Weather will wipe out their entire village. Can’t have your blood supply defending themselves. Right?” Octavia says from the sidelines.

“If we don’t arm them...we can;t win,” Kane says.

“Like hell we can’t, “Octavia says getting up from her seat and walks away.

“We don’t know enough about these people,” Kane says.

“She sure seems to,” the guard besides you says.

“More that you guys,” You say.

“What can you tell us?” Kane asks turning to you.

“Not as much as Octavia can tell you,” You say before following after her.

“Hey,” You say catching up.

“Hey,” She says.

“I know you want to get in there as bad as I do,” You say sitting on the sidelines.

“Yeh, if only Indra would let us,” Octavia says as you watch them. 

A few hours pass and you spend time unpacking your stuff from the trip. Soon enough you hear a knock on you door and open it to find Octavia. 

“I’m gonna make Indra let me train. You in?” She asks holding out another machete to you.

“Hell yeah,” You say grabbing the machete and following her outside. Just as you made it outside you noticed as the grounders were about to leave. Nothing stopped you and Octavia from getting in their way.

“Time for two more?” You ask as you meet up with Indra.

“Step aside, sky girls. We’re hungry,” Indra says.

“Make us,” Octavia says.

“Fio, Penn. Give these girls what they want,” Indra says before moving out of your way.

You watched as one of the men approached you and the other to Octavia, “Let’s do this,” Octavia says as you both prepare to fight.

You quickly go in for aswing with the machete Octavia gave you as she does the same. The man blocks your swings and grabs your arm. He pulls you towards him and knocks you with his head, sending you backward. But you weren’t gonna give up that easily. As you gathered yourself you notice Octavia being thrown to the ground.

“Hey, are you gonna give up that easily?” You say as you notice the man turning away from you as Octavia gets up.

“They want more? Oblige them,” Indra says.

The man starts to run towards you and swings, you ducted quickly and knock him in the back of his head with the blunt side of your machete. The man quickly turns around and elbows you in the face sending you to the ground. 

“Indra. Stop this,” Kane says trying to intervene. Indra ignores Kane’s request and says something to the men.

You and Octavia get up and take quick jabs to your respective sparing “partner”. The man fighting you barely budges. He takes you by the leg, picking you up, and tosses you away from him, into the muddy water. Even though you could feel pain in every body part, you muster every last bit of energy you have and charge at the man. Only to have your legs swiped out from under you. The man doesn’t hesitate one moment to kick you further away. As you try to gather your strength again, Indra interrupts the fight for both you and Octavia, stopping them from continuing.

Kane tries to help you up but you just shake him off, “I’m fine,” You say struggling to get to your feet. He then goes and helps Octavia up. 

“What are you two trying to prove?” Kane asks as the three of you head inside the Ark.

“What doesn’t kill you...makes you stronger,” Octavia struggles to get out. Kane takes Octavia into medical, but you continue down the hall to your room.

“Y/N, you should get to medical,” Kane says yelling after you down the hallway. You just continue to walk, ignoring him.

“Please, if not for me. At least yourself,” Kane says now closer to you. You turn to face him and silently let him know that you’d go. He walks with you into medical and you sit down on a cot. He doesn’t hesitate one moment to take care of your wounds. Not feeling up for a fight, you let him.

“Y/N...I just wanted to say that I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you more. That I didn’t visit more. You know why we had to float--” Kane starts.

“Don’t finish that sentence...You know I completely understand, but you also know the reason I’m still mad,” You respond. Before Kane could respond he was called by one of the guards. The nurse continued to tend to your and Octavia’s wounds. 

“What do you want?” Octavia says. You look up and notice Indra was standing above you two.

“You two fought like children today. All aggression. No thought, no defense. Always leaving yourselves exposed. Revealing your next move before each strike.

“Ok. We know. We got our asses kicked. That should make you happy,” You say.

“It does. Because neither of you gave up. Strength of spirit like that is rare, especially in two people. It must be guided,” Indra says intriguing both of you. “Do you know what a warrior’s second is?” Indra asks.

“An apprentice,” You respond.

“I can make both of you great warriors. Octavia and Y/N of the sky people...if you’re willing to do what it takes to train with me. I can only have one second, so you two must decide between eachother who takes the spot. I will train the other but not as my second,” Indra says.

“What’s in it for you?” Octavia asks.

“First lesson: never question me,” Indra says clearly waiting for a response. 

You look at Octavia, “You can be her second,” You say.

“Are you sure? Thought you’d put up more of a fight?” She asks.

You turn to her and take her hands into yours, “This is meant more for you than me. I want to learn to fight more than anything, and I know you know that. But you...you are meant to be a second, not me. You can give this your full attention, whereas people are looking to me for our next move,” You say. “I’m willing to train with you but let Octavia be your second,” You say looking to Indra as you notice her walking out.

“I’m in,” Octavia quickly says.

“Good. We’ll start tomorrow. Both of you,” Indra says before walking out. You and Octavia look at eachother and smile, finally knowing that you two got what you wanted.

As soon as you were done getting your wounds tended to you walk back outside with Octavia and take a seat at the chairs. You watch as Indra cuts off a piece of meat that she and the grounders hunted.

“Eat. Get strong. Only then will we win this war,” Indra says holding the plate out to the people on our side. 

Kane walks forward, “Thank you,” He says before taking the plate from Indra. Everyone else quickly gathers to get food as Kane approaches you and Octavia.

“You two did this,” Kane says sitting next to you.

“You’re welcome. Don’t blow it,” Octavia says as you sat silently.

“The boar put up a better fight than you two,” One of the grounders says to you and Octavia before handing you two a plate of food.

“I see you two are making friends,” Kane says as you take a bite of the boar.

“What do you want from us?” You ask finally speaking up.

“What do you thinks gonna happen...once we get your friends back? For now, we have a common goal. But one day, this war’s gonna end. With them,” Kane says.

“Just get to the point,” Octavia says.

“We know so little about them. You two have earned their respect. I need you two to be my eyes and ears,” Kane whispers.

“You’re asking us to be spies?” You ask annoyed.

“I’m asking you...to look out for your people,” Kane says.

“I am,” You say before getting up and heading into the Ark.

As you were getting ready for bed you heard a knock on your door. You open it to find non-other than Kane. “What do you want?” You ask standing in his way.

“May I come in?” He asks. You reluctantly move out of his way and let him in. “I just wanted to check on you...just make sure you’re ok,” He says quietly.

“Like you care,” You say sitting in the seat at the table.

“I do, Y/N,” He says.

“You didn’t care enough to check on me back in space. So why now?” You question.

“You know I had a lot of responsibilities,” Kane says.

“That clearly took precedence over your BEST FRIENDS daughter. But you’re chancellor now and look at you. Finding time to talk to me. How ironic,” You say slumping into your chair.

“Y/N…” Kane says clearly upset with himself.

“No. I’m done with the excuses. It’s too late to put the work in now. So here’s the deal. I will listen to you as the Chancellor and I will be there for meetings. But past that, I don’t want to hear anything about you trying to be my father figure after abandoning me all those years. You got it?” You say leaning towards him.

“Ye--yeah,” He says quietly. You sit there for a few awkward moments before he gets up and leaves. 

“Just know Y/N. I will always be here for you now if you need it,” He says and closes your door.
