My review on @thecreativekinds new set, A Blissful Day. Purchased in January, but just got around to do it now 😅 Got to play around with what i’ve learn from @mrmgward signature design online course and some @anneelser flourishes inspired. Lil bit heavy on flourish part, but i quite like it. —— This time i got to play around with it as watercolor instead calligraphy flourishes. A Blissful Day set is very pretty. As usual, pigmented colors & high-definition blings, very solid on white or black papers. Since i did the watercolor on white, i wrote the swatches on black. Many elements in this design is totally improvised, like that cloudy background. Wasn’t gonna use 3 colors on it, but apparently sweet peach, dusty rose & dusty blue make up such sweet colors. The wine glass is totally inspired from bordeaux color. Istg, Bas & Nana nail this color. It is beautiful for calligraphy, but when you blend in as watercolor, it has its own charm. Been waiting for such color on calligraphy ink and boy did TCK delivers. Dusty Rose & Bordeaux are my faves on this set. Been trying quite a lot of local lip products lately. This is one of my fave for lip gloss. Poppy Jam Lip Glaze from @blpbeauty. Love that it doesn’t have any smell to it. The liquid is very smooth and creamy. Thought the color will be pinker, but it turns into mauvy brown pink-ish color. Which is still nice. I love that it has a MLBB effect on my lips, but darker tone than i usually have. Since it’s a lip gloss/lip glaze texture, this will easily gone within hours. But i like reapplying lip products anyway. Not to mention my lips is loving this lip product so much. No bad reaction whatsoever. Best lip gloss i had, worth the review & the money. And it has such a sleek and clean packaging. ❤️❤️❤️ —— P.s wanted to take selfie for the application but rather not. So unskilled on that area. Just had the chance to review this, despite already bought it 1-2weeks ago. Been wanting @zillerinks for sometimes now. The Cranberry & Wisteria were in stock at @cforcalligraphyshop. I just couldn’t resist. —— Love the cranberry, dark red with tinge of gold when it dries and tilted on paper. It can produce amazingly fine hairlines. Love the wisteria too, though i prefer the consistency that the cranberry has. One thing i like with ziller ink is that i finally be able to write copperplate with Gillott 303. Never able to write that before, except for engrossers. The ink seems to make 303 a bit duller, glides really well on paper, yet still have its great hairlines. ♥️♥️♥️ —— p.s Cforcalligraphy shop always made a cute wrapping package. Some of my friends who have also ordered some items from them, said the same thing. First ever mug hand-calligraphy commission. Was trying several layouts of modern calligraphy, but it ended with @anneelser inspired open-shaded script. This is a challenging one. Not only with the layouts and writing on rounded surface, but finishing it as well. Some part of the letters are weird-looking since it’s really hard to write on rounded surface. But anyway, it is an interesting and exciting challenge. Thank u so much for the opportunity @dii_thaa. Shinhwa’s new title song just dropped today! Kiss Me Like That is just divine, i can replay it over and over again, n still not bored with the melody. Love the hand-kiss-dance moves, it looks enticing. Indeed Shinhwa is just full-blown charismatic when it comes to performance. —— It’s been 20 years since their debut.
