Last Wednesday (12th June), due to the ignorance of the government to the 1.03 million of people’s objections to the Bill, a large scale of (No China extradition) protest was triggered. The Central Government Offices was surrounded by citizens who also occupied the traffic lanes of Harcourt Road requesting to cease the proposal of the amendment. During the protest, the police used over 150 tear gas bombs. They even fired rubber bullets and beanbags to disperse the protesters, one of the protesters got headshot and sent to the hospital, news reporters were involved in the incident as well.
