I’ve been a Gunpla enthusiast since my dad bought me my first Gundam model kit from Japantown back in 1993 (Jesus I’m old), and since then, I’ve been collecting Gundams on and off throughout my life. One of favorite series has to be Mobile Suit Gundam 00. For this shot, I wanted to recreate the final confrontation between Setsuna F. Seiei and his Gundam Exia R2 versus Ribbons Almark and the 0 Gundam. I don’t have as much time to collect, build and detail Gunpla like I used to, so I feel like the Robot Spirits line is a good alternative. You get a higher quality figure that isn’t likely to break with as much (if not more) articulation plus a variety of extra hands and other accessories depending on the mobile suit.
