Waking up this morning, the cats were hanging out in bed with me and the cool breeze was coming through the window and the trees were dancing outside, casting pretty shapes of sunlight onto the headboard. So pretty and calming. I love the fall. I swear it’s magic.
Then I picked up my phone and read about RBG. I’m tired of feeling fearful. Things have been spiraling for a long time and it feels very helpless. I’m gonna give that the time it deserves and then try and move on with my day. Make it into a good one.
Gotta make a grocery list and hit the grocery store. I should really bite the bullet and get a new phone. And given how great the weather is, maybe I’ll go for a walk on the riverfront. What I should do is finally start the baby registry. I’m so intimidated by the process that I don’t wanna do it.
The husband is working til mid-afternoon today and we have a zoom wedding for a close friend at 3:00. Exciting, but they came to our wedding 8 years ago, and it’s sad that we can’t GO to their wedding to celebrate with them. Ah well.

Saturday & Sunday, September 19/20, 2020
The only highlight of Saturday was hanging out in the parlor room with my student fellow group watching a movie and playing a board game. Also watching Black Mirror with my roommate.
I just spent this entire weekend procrastinating. I just felt really depressed and did not do anything. I really need to do my work. Also, the are choosing students to go to a physics workshop and I don’t know if I’ll get chosen. I hope so, but my expectations are low. I just need to work at a good pace.
